This was my first time in DR and our friends recommended to stay at Playa Bonita. After several hotel searches and discussing the hotels with them they recommended this hotel since they had visited it while touring the area. The staff is very welcoming, I had called to get more information on the room and they even did a video call and showed me the room (there were no pictures of this particular room online). We visited from Monday-Friday so we weren't there over the weekend. It wasn't too busy during the week. The room was very spacious, good comfy bed, good a/c, and large bath with good water pressure. I enjoyed the balcony with views of the water and the grounds. The breakfast was included and it was a great spread. The restaurant food was also very good. The beach right behind it is a little rough, people tend to do some surfing but you just walk a little towards the other end and the water is spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel, make sure that you book early because they do get sold out.
