Kustpark Strand Westende

Went here over Easter disappointed with the site and area overall. A request was made for a mobile Home near to the site facilities, they failed to inform us that the companie's vans we booked were at the furthest away. Site is level so no problems with a mobility scooter. Children's play area was fair. The restaurant had a good selection of meals at reasonable prices. You could purchase advance tickets for the KusstTram saving on the cost of buying on board. It was about a 15 - 20mins walk to the beach, unfortunately there were a lot of roadworks being carried out in the area and as such using a satnav it was difficult to find the access to the site. Access to the vans is up 3 wooden steps with no handrail and are dangerous when wet. The van is fairly well equipped with cooking /eating equipment. The double bed was like sleeping on concrete, and the single beds would not support me sitting on them. an extra bunk bed is useful for children. overall it was poor value for the money paid.
