First of all, John the host is a gem. I only stayed one night which is a shame in such a nice historic place. I only eat Corn Flakes for breakfast but it is nice that you can help yourself all the time. The rooms are beautiful - I like it old fashioned. I was worried about the noise of traffic as the windows are old but it soon quietend down. There are not many sockets to load all the electronic gadgets we have nowadays but that is the way in an old house. I used the one for the kettle. I would stay again. It was in good walking distance to town. Parking was not easy - it is best to park backwards and it goes uphill. I had a small car and there is a big crack just at the bottom, so I had to step on the gas quite heavily to get over it.
