2 bedroom unit perfect for 2 couples.  Roomy, 2 bathrooms, nice open dining/living area.  Views were amazing of the NV Valley off the ridge.  We've stayed at other "ridge" locations that had 4 stories of stairs that were brutal.  This location had minimal stairs relevant to a 2nd story location.  Staff was very accommodating to any of our needs.  Unit does NOT have A/C.  It was warm during the day (August) with only 2 floor fans to move the air through,but cooled off comfortably at night.

Breathtaking Views at The Ridge Sierra

Virtual check in is easy just pick up the phone in reception and they guide you through it. Lovely rooms with an open fire and a balcony with views to die for.

The Jacuzzi in the main bathroom was perfect after a busy day on the Lake, it the resort  is about ten mins from the main area of all the restaurants, shops etc so very quite and restful just what we needed to combine a busy vacation with a retreat to relax in the evenings.

We will definitely be back here we didn't want to leave!!

Peace & Quiet with Fantastic views. Loved It

The best pet place we have ever had!

The lovely unit was so welcoming for us dog lovers. The adorable dog themed art was so fun. We couldn't believe that there was even a dog couch. Right  outside the door is poop bags & trash. It meant so much to us to take our River with us.

I stayed a second week in another unit at 299 Olympic ct. It was carpeted instead.The units are spacious & well maintained. Nice linens. Decent furniture, etc. The outside needs sanding & painted but it doesn't bother anything. We especially enjoyed our enclosed patio. I spent a lot of time out there planning my next  vacation. 
The top of the building has a hot tub, bbq & table. It also has a lovely view of Carson valley. I got stuck, unable to get out. The operator asked another resident to come & open the heavy metal door. The next day, I saw that there was a button on the wall that released the door.Andrea was very kind & patient with me.., 

We enjoyed eating at the Bistro at the Tahoe Ridge. My brother enjoyed the gym.  It's really beautiful & upscale over there. 

It would be a great tradition to come here every year. It's a great place. All I can say is that the unhappy review people did not have the units I did,

A very enjoyable stay!

Not really sure how to explain the experiences we had with Ridge Sierra. We are actually owners there. My husband purchased it a very long time ago but have not been back in over 20 years and never in the summer. I was stunned that it was so run down, and dirty, had bugs. The first room had dead moths in the lamps, on the floors, walls were banged up - furniture was torn. It looked like a number of areas had not been updated since we were there 20 years ago. The check in is awful. You wait, with a sign and then after a while this person appears on a TV screen and you pick up the phone next to you and that is how the check in is done. No live person any place to help you.Odd.

Lake Tahoe is stunning in the summer. Ridge Seirra not so much.

We spent a week at The Ridge Sierra. It is a timeshare that is also rented out. There are two locations fairly close to each other. My stay was at the 299 Olympic Court location. Room 130. Stair climbing was minimal. No elevators in these units. This was a 2 bedroom that sleeps 6. One queen bed. Two twin beds in the 2nd room. Hide a bed sofa for the other 2 persons.  This unit has been updated so is very nice. Check-in is by a computer screen. It was no problem. They issue you your key and parking pass. Parking was very close to the unit. It has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub with jets. Fully stocked kitchen. The stove is a convection / microwave combination so a little small compared to a full size oven. It only has a round glass plate like a microwave and they don't supply anything else to bake on. So you might want to bring something for that if needed. We usually eat out for lunch, so it worked for us. Hairdryer provided and a night light. The Internet worked good. There were not too many people here, so that's probably why. Verizon 4G worked great here. Our stay was just before the first good snow. So in a transition of seasons. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is setup for 6. 6 chairs at the table, 6 of plates, silverware, etc. Electric cooktop stove. There is a hot tub with jets on the top floor. Your room key gives you entrance. They have an agreement with The Ridge Tahoe a much larger Resort nearby so you can use their tennis court, health club, etc. It is a 5 minute drive away. You use your parking pass to gain entrance. If you have any questions, you dial 0 on the phone in the unit and someone is available 24 hours a day to help you. The instructions for almost everything are online. So when you get in the unit there is a card with a QR code on the Kitchen Counter. When you bring that up, it has the TV channels and answers to most questions. The location is very close to Heavenly Valley Stagecoach lift. There is a shuttle bus to pick you up or you can drive there in less than 5 minutes. South Lake Tahoe is about 15 minutes down the hill. Lot of things to do there. Evening shows, casinos, restaurants, etc. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay

the look of out side building was dirty it can used good painting not polite employers sense we when on the pandemic period we never got the room clean on top of that we request fresh towels and sheets few times and we never got them when we return to the hotel at the end of the day dirty towels still on the same place really poor experience never again

We really enjoyed our stay. We were allowed to check in early and everything was clean and working.

The location is nice right by the heavenly slope. The view is overlooking the mountains; very nice

It was amazing. Hotel was clean, well maintained, staff was very helpful.

Great Family Vacation

This was such a great find! went with our family of five and we were so comfy and satisfied. The views were amazing and the condo was so comfortable. Although we were right by the hotels/casinos and restaurants, we still had access to some and a store along with right next to the ski lift!! Felt like we could live there! Recommend over and over!
