Our room was beautiful. The staff was so nice and accommodating. I enjoyed the breakfast. All in all, it was the peaceful stay I was hoping for and more.

The owner was very concerned we were pleased with our room. He even came to the door to ask if we were going to get the complimentary breakfast because he was having it cleared away soon and he wanted to make sure we had an opportunity to get some.

The Scipio Hotel was quite clean comfortable and the staff was pleasant.  We had planned on playing golf in Fillmore and then staying in Scipio before heading to Salt Lake.  The weather was really miserable, so we ended up checking in early - which they allowed - and spending all afternoon in the room, which was fine except the tv is kind of small (not a big deal because the wifi was good).  Dining is Scipio is VERY limited!

This hotel felt safe, it was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating, and the beds were comfy. It was a really great experience and I would stay here again.

I didn’t catch his name but the check in man went above and beyond what I have experienced at other hotels during  this trip. He was very kind, helpful and welcoming.

It was just me and my toddler. Room was clean. Bathroom clean. The window on the second floor didn't have a screen which I thought was weird. The mattress is very firm and pillows are cotton. For the price, this was just fine. The carpet and furniture could use updating. The breakfast was bagels, waffles, bread, cereal with milk coffee and juice. Oh yogurt. Nothing fancy. I would stay here again.

Good for the money.

Quiet, extremely clean motel with good beds in spacious, dog-friendly room on ground floor. Very peaceful on this cold February evening 2025. Free laundry! In, new machines (one washer, one dryer, but you must bring your own soap). Free breakfast was standard, with nice yogurt, some juices, coffee and decaf and teas, english muffins and bagels, some cereals, a toaster, bread and butter and jam. a waffle maker, apples. Very courteous accommodating management. We had passed several chain motels down the road in Salina, and we are so glad that we had reserved this place in the smaller town of Scipio, with pretty views of the foothills and mountains. fast Wi-Fi and nice flatscreen TV.  Great value.

very quiet, very nice fog-friendly motel in small town.

It was just a stop to sleep on our travels. It was perfect for just that nothing more, nothing less. It took a bit to get checked in to our pet friendly room but once we did everything was smooth. The room had quick access to the pet area which was very nice for the dogs. Bed was a bit firm. We’d stay again

Thank you so much to Theo lovely hotel . On Xmas eve they met me with open arms - stayed awake for my late arrival and were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean tidy and exactly what I needed on such short notice .
It your in the area  please visit them - they are over and beyond helpful and caring .

Everything you need

This was a great stop for the night. I was traveling with my 2 dogs and just needed a good place to rest. Traveling with dogs can be challenging but my dogs were very relaxed here and slept quietly through the night. There is a large field next to the hotel and it was great for letting the dogs wander and sniff. It was very cold the night we stayed and the room and building were toasty warm and very clean! The staff was super friendly and accomodating. Very nice people!

Great little road stop.

This was our second stay at Scipio hotel. The man at the desk was very helpful and nice. Room was comfortable and accommodations for our dog were great! Breakfast was pretty basic but a large variety, coffee was excellent! There are no real dining options nearby but that’s ok, we bring our food. We look forward to another stay when we drive cross country again!

Second time guest, very happy

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the lighting, several lamp bulbs were broken or missing, and one bedside lamp switch was broken and had to be plugged and unplugged into the outlet to work. I mentioned it to reception at checkout, and I hope it was fixed.

Plugs in room worn. Recharging plugs fit loosely into socket or barely in. Fire/spark hazard?

We stopped at this hotel while passing through on a vacation.  The front desk staff was extremely friendly both for check in and check out.  The reception area, hallway, and room were very clean.  The bed and pillows were comfortable.  We had a good night's sleep and  I would definitely stay there again.
