It was a nice representation of the brand.  It is an older build  but it's been renovated nicely.  The staff was fine and the room. Was clean and comfortable.  Nice mattress and fridge and microwave in the room as well as internet tv.  Close to shopping and restaurants.  Right off of hwy 10. Price was really great. Outdoor pool and a nice fitness center

Terrible Manager customer service. I’m a Diamond (for life) customer not that they care, but I couldn’t get my room cleaned (even though it was requested) 2-days in a row! The “manager” was flippant and unwilling to do anything- even blaming me for not ‘requesting’ cleaning. When I said I did! She said it was written down in the wrong place- acting like it was my fault, and was unwilling to do anything.  When I said that I would file a complaint with the diamond desk she said “go ahead” so I will!!!   BEWARE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been coming to this Hampton Inn for 10 years to visit family and I give it mixed reviews depending on who is working that day. Lol. The front desk is very nice but the lady in charge of the breakfast should be replaced or retrained. I actually felt bad complaining to the front desk because they are ALL so nice and helped me right away. The breakfast lady is just slow and can't be bothered y'all so know that. Lol! Otherwise very nice hotel. I highly recommend it.

Brand spanking new stuff but terrible service

Attending a Christian Conference for couple days and this hotel just off I-10 was perfect. Wonderful showers and attentive breakfast staff. Room was very comfortable with 100 degree weather outside. Definitely will stay again next year. 


Perfect location

Very clean, well maintained and updated hotel. 
Kudos to the staff, especially Tracy up front. She definitely knows the importance of representing a company/brand.  Not only I had a good experience with Tracy but I have observe her all week with her customers and she’s an awesome team player. Thank you! 

Comfortable 

Despite a malfunctioning elevator which was evidently repaired long after our (and everyone else's) departure, I was prepared to tag this stay as between decent and good, due to decent customer service, as well as quality of room.

BUT

All of that went by-the-by when the wise-guy manager, the day after check-out, tried to weasel out of the compensation discussed by the previous front desk manager (during the day OF check-out), the one who was actually there when the elevators broke and we, and everyone else in the hotel, had to drag all luggage down staircases.

The excuse from this paragon of generation Z ambivalence and unaccountability was: the problem got fixed that evening (IE, after all affected guests had long since departed).

Furthermore, despite telling me that she had not had time to investigate the matter, this new front desk manager decided she knew enough to refuse to honor the commitment of the last one.

How that works, I'm sure I'll never know.

But the commitment hasn't been fulfilled as yet, and we await awarding of the discussed compensation which, in order to avoid escalation and problems between this person and her superiors, etc. should arrive in the next day or so.

Bait and Switch

Within mere days of arrival, we found out that the hotel was CLOSED. Repairs for Hurricane Ida damage was cited. The Hurricane occurred a YEAR AGO, plenty of time to notify guests, shuffle reservations, etc. we can hardly imagine the problems we’d have arriving after a long flight to a dark hotel.

We have stayed at this Hampton many times over the years. It is one of the BEST in the chain.  Except for this major disconnect!  8/16/22

WHAT HAPPENED HERE?

Do not stay here-it is dirty and the team members are not there to help. Be prepared to wear your mask only to be greeted by the team members not wearing theirs. Way to far from the attractions even for the price. Stay downtown 

Dirty and unfriendly

The staff was amazing!! They took such good care of us!!  Very thoughtful!!!  We arrived about 4 hours later than what we had originally told them, they still had our reservations, Amanda knew we were really tired and gave us breakfast to take to our rooms because she knew we would sleep through breakfast. Rooms were amazing!! No street noise, will definitely be back!

Best stay ever!!

The room was fine. However my vehicle was vandalized in the parking lot. The catalytic converters we’re stolen. According to the hotel staff and the sheriffs office, this is an isolated incident. Hopefully this is not a problem for anyone in the future.
