Inexpensive and very friendly and helpful staff. Would patronize again.

Dicarlo checked me in and made me feel welcome, hes a gentleman and a scholar. Place was comfortable enough that I went straight to sleep without intending to, bed was that comfortable.

Management will remind you to do your dishes as you are doing them in front of them.

Inexpensive place to stay if traveling alone staff was friendly

Every time we visit, the property is exceptionally clean, amazingly clean. This is due to the exceptional work of Mr. Decarlo. Constantly cleaning, sanitizing, washing, he is truely an asset to this housing. This facility is cleaner and more organized than a hospital. Sanitized to the hilt. Thank you DeCarlo

Ok for overnight stay . No private bathroom in private room (i.e. all rooms share two common bath rooms). There are microwave, coffee machine, cups , paper towel, dish washing liquid, washer and dryer in the common area. Bedsheets and pillow covers are available when we stayed overnight. Staff is accommodating. Will stay again if occasion arises.

My stay at the LA Guest House was pleasant over all.  It is a Hostel with the usual hostel accommodations.  Clean, comfy, casual.  International travelers prevailed.  Host was polite and watchful.  Most challenging was finding the place...it is set back from Century Blvd by a small brick fenced parking lot.  It is in the west corner of the cross street and the entry is in the cross street.  But Google Maps helped.  Parking is street parking . It is possible, but watch for the signs indicating no overnight parking or only 2 hours   for a quick trip to LAit was perfect.  It is central to public transportation as well as the freeways.  When we stay at a hotel we expect friendliness over style.  This one had it in spades.

A hidden retreat from which to manage LA business.

The best thing about it is the low price. Considering the price, it was clean and nice.

At first I didn’t know what to expect, but the hostel was nice. I was able to catch up on sleep on my 12 hour layover. There’s quite a few eateries and CVS within walking distance! Very convenient too.

Great place to crashout for sleep

Great value for money. 2 improvements would be to:- have signage outside the hotel ie hotel name and point to entry- sell cheap earplugs. The traffic is quite loud
