I stayed here in June in the loft room. I found everything extremely cute & quaint as well as well-kept and clean. Though we never saw another person in the space, I didn't need to, and actually enjoyed the privacy. Though the caretakers were very responsive via email so I was never concerned. The loft ladder was steep, so just be aware of that if you are older or nervous about heights (night time bathroom breaks were a little tricky). 

I also HIGHLY recommend going to the Fox in the Snow for breakfast. You will receive free vouchers. It's a couple block walk but the atmosphere is super hip, the food is delicious, and they have a nice outdoor patio for nice days. 

I would definitely come back. It was cheap, easy, comfortable and extremely pleasant.

Please note: comments in this review were shared via email four days ago with owners of this establishment, with no response.  Given that, I feel very comfortable writing this review, with positives and negatives.

This is a guesthouse in the Columbus Italian Village neighborhood.  It is just a block of so from the free CBUS, a circulator that will take you throughout the Short North gallery and bar/restaurant neighborhood, through downtown, and down to the Brewery District.  You are just an easy walk from the High Street restaurants, etc.  The CBUS makes easy connections with the city's AirConnect bus service to the airport, a real bargain for only $2.75.  Runs every half hour.

This is not a B&B.  No hosts were present -- just several other guests.  No breakfast at the house, but they do provide you with a voucher for a great local coffee house and bakery, a short walk away.

My bedroom was large and clean.  Cold -- heated primarily by a portable radiator unit, which really did not keep up with a very cold Columbus January night.

Shared bathroom.  Large with tub/shower, plenty of towels, etc.

The guesthouse is on a fairly busy street.  Quite a bit of traffic noise at night.

You are given a code to access the outside door and your room.

My one major complaint was the bathroom.  The floor and baseboards under the toilet came nowhere near passing the white glove test.  Dirty...

Price was about $110 per night.  A bit less than you'd pay (unless there is a major convention in town) at the Hampton or Red Roof closer to downtown.  In convention week, those rooms are closer to $200.
