Stayed one night at this amazing place wished we could have stayed longer. We dined in restaurant the food was excellent hubby had ribeye steak and I tried the belly pork with crushed potatoes leeks and apple sauce and cider which was the most delightful plate of food I’ve had in a long time the staff were very helpful and the breakfast very good would definitely recommend this establishment you will not be disappointed

Very friendly staff, warm cosy pub environment with good beer. Restaurant food was exceptional. Room and en-suite a good size and very comfortable (Home Guard). Breakfast quality outstanding with local produce. Would definitely stay again.

After coming for a delicious Sunday lunch last year we knew we wanted to come back again for a relaxing night away without our kids. The Cat and Custard Pot is a charming historic venue in a pretty little village with lots of character. The roast beef was excellent and it was lovely to chill for the rest of the evening in the pub. Our room was light, clean and nicely furnished and we had a peaceful night, followed by a tasty breakfast the next morning. Overall good value for a relaxing night away in the countryside, we'll be back again.

One of my favourite places to stay. Always a warm welcome, a lovely room, great breakfast and lovely walks from the door. A lovely pub in a great location and super dog friendly.

What a great stay. From the moment we walked in the door we were made welcome. Our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotless. Dinner was delicious and reasonable with nothing too much trouble and breakfast was the same. We are planning on coming back with friends as one night in such a pretty area just wasn’t enough.

This is a great pub, in a lovely location. Rooms are delightful and the manager/staff helpful and approachable without being overbearing.  We dined in the chalet in the evening and the pizzas were marvellous, as was the wine. The breakfast was also fantastic. This was our second visit and we are already planning another!

Very welcoming pub with good food. The staff including Sam and Lynn are very friendly and attentive.

Our room was beautiful, with a massive bathroom and roll top bath, however…. For our 2 night stay we had no heating. Luckily it wasn’t too cold in February, but would have been nicer if the room was a bit warmer for me. Breakfast was outstanding and the chef knocked up a proper English breakfast. One older lady who served us breakfast one morning was a little highly strung / panic mode and was more worried about bookings. Which left us all a bit tense after breakfast, but the next day a young man served us and he was relaxed and calm, which made for a lovely breakfast.I would definitely stay again, great bar staff. We went for a wedding nearby and booking staff helped us get taxis and were so super helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay

Really enjoyed our stay in the Cat & Custard. Quiet and plenty of parking. Room was spacious but a tad hot. Thank goodness for the fan. Food was exceptional and tasteful. Alcoholic beverages were extensive and staff were helpful and friendly.  Nothing was too trouble. Sam, who served us most of the evening was polite and humorous. A great assist to the premises. Would definitely recommend

Received a very warm welcome upon our arrival ,staff food and service excellent at all times .The first room we were offered had very small shower room ,the room we then stayed in had a much better bathroom , my only comment would be, bathroom could do with a bit of TLC . But overall a great little find ,in a very quiet and pretty village , would use again .

Cute place. Nice staff. We actually tried to walk to Westonbirt Arboretum and this mom & daughter picked up us when they said us walking in the rain even though they were going to the opposite way. The daughter, Francesca, happened to work at The Cat & Custard Pot Inn! Just shows she’s also kind outside of work. Then Gemma in the restaurant served us d was very pleasant. She recommended the Parma with Burrata pizza which was really delicious.

Cute place

Super charming spot in the tiny village of Shipton Moyne. Friendly staff. Excellent meal and breakfast. Clean and modernized room with nice sheets and comfy bed. Great little pub. Super close to the Arboretum if you are coming for a show. My only complaint: no cats were to be found 😀 Highly recommended.

We both really enjoyed our stay. The room was bright and airy , lovely colours. Bedroom and Bathroom fabulously clean, comfortable bed, lovely to have a bath with lots of hot water. Restaurant staff and food , welcoming , tasty local food and very helpful friendly staff. The location was great , beautiful village, much to do in the area and good transport links. It’s a special gem. We would definitely go back.
