This Guest House is conveniently situated just across the road to the walkway/prom and a comfortable 10 minute walk to the Town of Mumbles for shops,cafes, Restaurants and pubs.  Metin is an exceptional host. He is a happy and very welcoming gentleman who tries to make your stay special.  Our room No 6 Rhossilli had a sea view.  The room was very nice with a really comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was excellent too.  On arrival there was a treat on our pillows. There was treats left out side our door every day with clean crockery etc;  A wide variety of breakfasts. All excellent. The  fresh fruit salad is a Wow factor as is the Advocado with poached eggs also the Salmon with scrambled egg. Mmm.  Metin Just wanted to please, so it was no problem for  him if you wanted to fine tune your ticked choices on the order form. Example, if you ticked baked beans you could write in very small portion along side or very small portion of Greek yoghurt or even extra strong tea. It would be done for you. I booked a few days at Tides Reach to celebrate my wife's Birthday.  Metin asked me what day her Birthday was and when we came down to breakfast it was a big surprise when he sang Happy Birthday, the table was decorated and there were balloons and a birthday bunting across the window.He also presented her with a Birthday card and a gift. Wow! So thoughtful. All in all we had a excellent 4 night stay and would not hesitate to return here again.  We thoroughly recommend this Guest House.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. 
The room was  lovely, clean lovely sea view. 
The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, and the host was very friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. 
Sea front location just ten minutes walk to the town restaurants and bars also taxis available. 
Highly recommend will return. 

Lovely weekend break 

We had a lovely weekend, the room was very spacious and extremely clean, with an amazing view of the bay. 
Metil was extremely professional and kind. He made us feel at home and cooked a delicious breakfast.
The guest house is a short walk from Mumbles high street and only 45min walk from Swansea. Really a great location!

Great place!

Firstly let me apologise to you Metin as we visited last August but I forgot to write a review. This little gem is well worth a visit. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Soft bedding and a very comfy mattress as well as all the little touches. We loved how we put our dirty crockery out and every day they were returned sparkling clean with a little sweet treat to accompany them. The breakfast was faultless. I have never been anywhere where there was so much choice and all cooked to perfection. Metin what can we say "you are definitely the host with the most" a true gentleman that cares deeply for his guests. He makes you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. We have booked and will be returning in April for more 5* treatment.

Terrible experience working with this accommodation. Reached out to them well in advance of our arrival after booking and they were completely unwilling to even entertain our requests. The owner was quite rude and I accommodating. Would definitely avoid!

Rude & unaccommodating owner

We stayed with our baby and Metin our host made it so easy for us and accommodated for our needs. He was so understanding and helpful to us as a family with a small infant - our baby loved meeting Metin! He was always reachable and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We have a lovely clean room looking over the bay. We would definitely come again. Thank you Metin, it was lovely to meet you 

The kindest, loveliest host you'll ever meet!

A hidden gem full of prestige glamour with the most incredible views.  If you are looking for a great location with seafront views, comfortable clean and want to be looked after like a 5* star guest.  Look no further.  The attention to detail should not be overlooked, no plastic packaging will be found here, and a commitment to recycling is commendable, with heart-shaped butter for your toast and the most incredible mushroom omelette that will delight your tastebuds. We needed to be in Swansea for a silly o’clock appointment on a November Monday morning. We decided that it would be sensible to travel up on the Sunday and stay overnight. So after perusing Trip, Tides Reach seemed ideally located. An email to Metis was quickly replied to so I rang and we had a discussion where we explained our needs. Metis understood what we needed, so the booking was made. All was explained by email and we duly arrived and settled into our room which was excellent and spotless. Because we had a very early appointment Metis even agreed to supply us with breakfast earlier than normal. The breakfast was brilliant and absolutely nothing was too much trouble.  We would have no hesitation in recommending Metis and Tides Reach. Exemplary service in every respect. Should we be in Swansea again needing accommodation we know where it will be.

Our two night weekend stay was was just as good as our first a year ago . Great location. Warm welcome, excellent accommodation, very tasty and plentiful breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Our Second Visit

My wife and I just had two wonderful nights at Tides Reach in Swansea visiting friends. We have came here last year but unbeknown to me was the change in ownership. I need ent have worried as the place has kept up to its excellent standards. Rooms were spotless, beds comfy and breakfast was good too. But the new owner could not do enough for us. We will be back soon. Recommend.
