Swanage Haven Boutique B&B

We enjoyed a super relaxing anniversary weekend at Tina and Amanda’s lovely guest house! Easy to find on quiet street with off-road parking spaces. They welcomed us warmly with a much needed cup of tea, but could equally have had a beer or glass of wine in their cute bar. Our room had a lovely view over the pretty garden and out towards the Purbeck hills. All was fresh, clean and newly furbished to a high standard, and we thoroughly appreciated the comfy bed, quality linens, fluffy towels and excellent shower. For those of us whose idea of a holiday is tea in bed, there is every conceivable variety, generous sized mugs, a full sized kettle and a whole pint in a silent fridge. Others have quite rightly raved over the breakfast, so I will just add that even in these cash-strapped times, Tina and Amanda are still supporting the local free-range chickens to supply their generous Dorset breakfast. We found Swanage Haven super convenient for a 10 min walk to the centre of Swanage, a pleasant hike to Durlston country park, and a short drive to Corfe Castle and Studland Bay.
