The room I was in was clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and milk and it was easy to get extra supplies if you needed.  The continental breakfast had plenty of choice and I certainly did not leave hungry.  The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.  Unfortunately the bed that I had in the room I was booked into was too high for me and there was a shower over the bath which for me is not god.  I contacted reception, who were extremely helpful  and an accessibility room was found for me in which the bed was lower and there was a walk in shower.  The room was soundproof as I could not hear any noise from other rooms.  In the rooms there is a control which you can use to adjust the temperature of the air conditioning which is useful as it meant you could be comfortable in room. 

Incredibly gracious and pleasant staff from top to bottom, Nabz, Prakesh and the night porters were fantastic made our stay excellent. We were able to book another night after we had spent 10 hours struggling to get here after a breakdown on the motir way and horrible customer service from RAC. Excellent staff and venue!

Wanted some were that was not too expensive but central good clean and reliable and this was met in all respects. Quite Clean Good Food parking close and central and good value would recommend and go again next time 

A lovely few days at this town centre hotel. It does everything it says in the advert - clean and very comfortable. You can’t beat Premier Inn beds and pillows. Well done St.Albans Premier Inn for a lovely presentable and very clean hotel. Credit where it’s deserved

A few of us were going to the Alban Arena and this is next door, so very convenient.  The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.  Room was ideal, also clean and well set-up.  I always feel one can rely on Premier Inn.

First time taking my daughter to stay away from home and we were apprehensive about how it would go.

The welcome from the lady on reception and the overall stay and room facilities has my little one asking when we can do it again! Will visit again!

A very pleasant place to stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was basic but very nice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of things to choose from. Cooked food was hot and not warm as you sometimes find at hotels. Everywhere was clean. Would definitely stay there again.

First stay since pre-covid. Very good. Clean room and common areas. Breakfast was very good. At the time, order with staff for cooked food. Buffet for cold.

Lovely hotel, rooms are amazing.  I was surprised to have a premier-plus room as I thought this was an extra expense however the fridge in the room was really useful and I enjoyed my stay there.  The meal deal could be a little better as the choice of starters/desserts were a bit disappointing, however the quality of the meals were excellent.  Thank you.

Good room, bed and facilities to the regular standard expected in this hotel chain. But, only a warm cooked breakfast and the toasters were useless. Don't bother trying to book a taxi from the free to use reception telephone; after waiting 40 minutes to be then informed (after I had to call them back several times) that it would be another 30 minutes before there would be a taxi available, was a waste of time. Uber was then called and their taxi arrived in 3 minutes!

Good comfortable room and bed.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of St Albans. I had two stays recently and cannot fault the staff for the professional and friendly service. Tara was particularly helpful on several occasions, once assisting in sorting out a tricky reservation problem. The hotel had some quirks and I am not sure if this is all Premier or just this one; for instance some rooms have direct WIFI plug in while others require an adaptor plug; some rooms have no internal phones so you have to use your mobile/cell to get to the front desk which may not always be attended. The rooms were clean and well serviced. 

Great location, good service 

For a budget hotel this is a perfect choice. Staff couldn't be more helpful and facilities are totally adequate. My stay was over Christmas  and still the staff were cheerful and helpful and caring.
If you're particularly pernickety you could find small irritations snd imperfections but if staff can resolve them they will either st the time or ASAP for other guests. 
The city centre location makes for choice and despite that the hotel is very quiet and peaceful.
I didn't eat so unable to comment on food. It smelled OK though.

Excellent stay

Great

First time in a Premier since pre-Covid.  Does what it says on the tin, clean and comfortable room, functional bathroom with good shower.   Rooms are resaonably spacious, but the bed is so comfortable, almost guaranteed a great sleep.

Overnight stay in StAlbans

Good room as always but no staff to be seen on arrival. Finally found some to ask about early check in at 1pm happy to pay as email confirmation suggested but not able to as rooms not ‘checked’. Finally got in 45 mins early a credit we weren’t charged. Breakfast was ok some items took a while to be replaced. Again a ok stay for convenient central location

Ok stay centrally located

We are regular Premier Inn stayers, they’re basic and you can’t expect luxury. The staff were friendly, beds comfy and location was great. But, I feel this hotel has been left and ignored. No evening meals available, but they don’t state this on the website, several items missing at breakfast and a long wait for good to be topped up, seems they’re very understaffed. Bad area very unwelcoming. A few tables but hardly any chairs to sit on, not a place you want to relax and have a drink in the evening. We had no towels or glasses in our room, a minor inconvenience, but another example of how short staffed they are. Not great having family rooms facing a night club that is noising until 3am. I loved how close we were to the centre and the car park was convenient. But think I’d consider somewhere else next time.
