Our first stay at the Phoenix Court of 2024, and another lovely experience, nice clean room with king sized bed a lovely en-suite with shower and a stunning view from the window, a fabulous cooked breakfast with toast, cereals, tea or coffee and a warm welcome from Donna and Mike. Hopefully we'll be back later in the year to this great value guesthouse.

We have coming to phoenix court for 10yrs  plus, and we are always made welcome. The rooms are clean and tidy the breakfast is always spot on . Mike and Donna are the perfect host will do anything to make your stay better, Shame we not going back in August, But will deffo be back next Easter, thanks again.

Our room was spotlessly clean and had fantastic sea views. The breakfasts are so good, excellent choices and cooked to perfection. There is an on site car park which is an added bonus in Scarborough. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and see you again next year 👍

We've been back to Phoenix Court again!
Donna and Mike are always so friendly and welcoming,  it's like a home from home.  The rooms are spotless and comfy. Love the little chocolates on the pillows when we arrived, the kids were especially excited by these!
Breakfast is top notch,  serve yourself cereal and fruit station,  and then full cooked breakfast ( you order the night before on slips in your room).
I recommend room 16 if you're traveling with kids,  it's 2 bedroomed, with twin beds in the 2nd room. Yes, the enquire is off the twin room, but the kids are so tired from all the fun and sea air that they didn't move a muscle when we used the ensuite after they went to bed. 
The private carpark is a huge advantage: if you know Scarbrough and the pain of parking you'll understand this! Here,  you can go out for a while and come back knowing you've somewhere to park again!
We love the honesty bar in the sitting room downstairs: snacks,  fresh milk,  and fully stocked alcoholic and soft drinks. 
Other bits: fast free WiFi, great location,  local information provided everywhere downstairs (Inc pubs and restaurants and numbers).

We stayed Bank Holiday weekend in room 16 great for families with its interconnecting room. Facilities are amazing great quality tea coffee and biscuits provided in room, free car parking and modern bathroom. Breakfast is perfect again with the best quality ingredients. There is a well stocked honesty bar and information booklets in the room which tell you everything you would ever need to know during your stay. The hosts and all of the staff are so welcoming and friendly nothing is too much trouble. In the current climate this hotel is exceptional value for money and we will definitely return in the future.

Returned again to Phoenix Court and again had a fantastic time with our grandson. Donna and Mike again are exceptional hosts who  treat you like its your home from home, nothing is too much to ask, beds are comfortable, meals *****, views to die for and whole room is clean and tidy with plenty fluffy towels and tea and coffee making facilities provided. Already booked again for next year.

The sea view from Room 17 is a hard one to bet.  
The super king size bed you can get lost in.
Breakfast you have a great selection.
Mike and Donna are a great couple and nothing is to much trouble.not forgetting it has on sight parking x

We had a lovely stay here at Phoenix Court. We stayed here about 18yrs ago with different owners. We had such a warm welcome and everything to hand for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was first class. We didn’t get to meet Donna but met Mike and other members of the staff. Tracey is lovely. Views are spectacular. Thank you so much for having us and we will see you soon x

Another fantastic stay 5*

Everything was clean, comfortable and stylishly furnished.  The rooms are very spacious and the sea views from the front rooms which overlook the North Bay  are wonderful.  There is a good choice of breakfast items, all well cooked and presented. A really good plus point is that there is a car park for guests - a rare thing in Scarborough.  A very nice place to stay.

Once again a great few days at Phoenix. Donna and Mike are great hosts and are very welcoming. I don't have a cooked breakfast but there was plenty of fruit toast etc. My husband loves Mike's breakfasts and really enjoys them. Can't say much more apart from keep up the good work and hopefully see you next year.

October stay

We stayed two nights in September and were lucky enough to have a sea view room - gorgeous. The hotel has its own car park which is great and is in a great location. The owners and staff  are so friendly and really there to look after their customers. Little things like fresh milk in a fridge to coat hooks for coats in the room to comfy chairs to while away some time and even a lounge with books and an honesty bar. The weather had turned a bit cooler and the heating was really efficient in the room which was large compared to many other places we have stayed. All at such good value.
