A wonderful tranquil location with a gorgeous garden and chickens. The rooms were bright clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing- only eat the Suffolk breakfast if you haven’t eaten for 3 days- there is so much and the black pudding was great!
The welcome could not have been better. Tea and home made drizzle cake. Tracy and Gary were caring hosts- they booked night 1 evening meal for us! And were full of ideas of where to visit.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. In the Owl apartment. Wow! Loved it so much. Highly recommended. Amazing facilities and fab views. Hosts were kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. We didn’t have breakfast as we were self catering. The kitchen has everything you can need as well as a full size fridge! Bed comfy and huge shower!

This place is a little gem and will not disappoint. The room we had was lovely and had its own patio. 2 lovely dogs at the property and free roaming chickens. 
The room was stunningly clean, so much so that i asked the owner if it had all recently been done, 7 years was the reply!!! The shower was gleaming and ive never got my own shower to gleam like that. The bed was comfortable and everything was provided. The owners were more than helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly. 
Breakfast had a good choice and included freshly laid eggs and were delicious. 
You have your own parking spot and the property is well place for visiting everywhere. 
If ihad one small criticism it would be the clothes hanging but thats probably because i dont travel light. 
Overall this place is well worth staying at snd we will be back.

Lovely house, very welcoming hosts, the garden is a delight and the breakfasts excellent. We stayed in Blush which had everything we needed for a three night stay.
Plenty of ideas for local attractions.
Highly recommended.

My wife and I could not have wished for a warmer welcome than that received from Gary and Tracy. The B&B is set in delightful gardens in the village of Peasenhall, within a few minutes drive from Aldburgh, Thorpness and Southwold.
The room was perfect for our needs and the breakfasts were a delight.
Without any shadow of doubt I can recommend this venue to all and sundry.

Our first visit for a couple of years and once again we stayed in Owls Roost.  A lovely comfortable apartment with fabulous views over the garden and countryside beyond.   Very relaxed and friendly place with delicious breakfasts.  Highly recommended!

Warm welcome, well maintained comfortable accommodation, great location for Suffolk coast, good breakfast, friendly hosts. Well appointed sun terrace south facing garden with excellent views of the setting sun. 
Tracy and Gary have a good knowledge of the local area and are happy to recommend good places to eat, and attractions. 
Great choice of local hostelries serving good food near by.

We've gathered family and friends together and are staying in this picturesque part of the world. Every door opened to rooms people gasp saying this is gorgeous and it is. Tracy and Gary perfect hosts. Every room perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with lovely views. We're  staying in Owl this time and really enjoying all it has to offer. We're nearby to plenty of interesting places to visit. We're enjoying a trip on The Lady Florence.

Just spend a few days staying at Hare Lodge and found beautiful, comfortable accommodation within a peaceful and stunning location.
The hosts made us so welcome - they really have thought of everything to make you feel at home.
The breakfasts were the best we have ever been offered at a B & B and the happy, free range chickens in the garden meant that our eggs were delicious!
We stayed in Squirrel Lodge with kitchen and lounge but I also viewed the double bedrooms and they were fabulous.  All accommodation has been finished to a high standard with WiFi, flat screen TV and superior showers.  
The location is perfect for discovering the Suffolk coast and is less than 30 mins from both Southwold and Aldeburgh.  The hosts have many tips and advice on Suffolk villages, places of interest and where to eat.

We will definitely be back to Hare Lodge

Absolutely perfect stay. 5 star throughout. Garry and Tracey were the perfect hosts in an idilic location close enough to everything worth seeing in Suffolk. 
We will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Just returned from a week at Hare Lodge in Peasenhall.   We had a very warm welcome from Gary and Tracy which was only the start of a very relaxing holiday.
They are great hosts and made us feel very much at home from the outset.  The breakfasts were very good and served in a very bright and sunny conservatory and both Gary and Tracy were full of tips and advice to ensure we had a good time.  The bedroom was delightful and we enjoyed wandering round the pretty garden but would have liked to have made more use of the pretty patio but there didn't seem to be the time.  We would highly recommend this accommodation whether as a B&B or self catering. It is in a good location for both Southwold and Aldburgh with some very good choices for food locally.  We had a great time - thanks to Gary and Tracy.

A very relaxing holiday

My wife and I stayed at Hare Lodge recently and found the purpose built B&B/Self catering accommodation to be superb.  It is ideally situated close to the A12 for sight seeing along the coast and less than 10 miles to the RSPB flagship reserve at Minsmere and Natural Trust  reserves nearby at Dunwich Heath and Westleton Heath.  The idyllic setting of Hare Lodge is tranquil and peaceful, the breakfasts were some of the best we have ever had and the hosts, Gary and Tracey, did everything to ensure we had a marvellous stay, we cannot recommend it highly enough.
