I cannot say enough about Manordaf.  From the start the host and hostess are very welcoming.  The property is situated next to the river with the views of the countryside.  The rooms are well appointed, quiet and comfortable.  Breakfast was amazing!!!!!  We had one day here and the hosts were nice enough to suggest a quick loop route to see the coast, the villages and countryside.  We are looking forward to our next visit.  Thank you Manordaf for a lovely visit to Wales.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the Welsh coast path. The owners Steve and Jacqui were lovely and welcoming and very friendly. The shower was excellent and the room was clean spacious and comfortable! Breakfast was good too! Thankyou!

On the Wales Coast Path. Friendly hosts, great facilities, comfy bed, lovely location. On a bus route so ideal for several stages of the Wales Coast Path. Wonderful choice for breakfast. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Manordaf cottage in August, unfortunately the weather wasn’t brilliant but we found plenty to do in the local area. We were so lucky to have the comfortable accommodation and the hot tub to come home to at the end of the day and our dog, Merlin, enjoyed pottering around in the enclosed garden and going for walks along the river.
The accommodation had everything we needed, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for a family of four. 
We did find it a little chilly in the evening (because it was not great weather) but having the hot tub to hop into warmed us up! 
Steve and Jacqui were very welcoming and gave advice on a fantastic local dog walking beach. St Clears is a nice little town with a good pub and local shops with everything you need. A good base to travel around South Wales. Thank you Steve and Jacqui.

Manordaf is under  new ownership since the beginning of August 2019.   Jacqui and Steve could not have been kinder or more helpful.  They welcomed both me and my dog warmly and were very helpful and generous.  Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

Walking The Carmarthenshire Coastal Path St Clears was one of our stops. We were booked in at Manordaf B&B which was on route. We have stopped in many a B&B's and would just like to say that this one has been one of the best. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was excellent. I would certainly recommend this B&B.

The self-catering cottage is in the grounds of Manordaf B&B. 
We received a warm and friendly welcome from Bev and Ali on arrival. They talked us through relevant points and then left us to enjoy our break. They struck the perfect balance of leaving us to enjoy our break and being on hand when needed.
The cottage itself has everything you need for your break and features two bedrooms with excellent bedding. The kitchen is compact and well equipped with everything you need. The shower wet room is clean and has constant hot water. The decking area outside the cottage is a sun trap and is perfect for relaxing at any time of day.
The cottage is well placed for visits to local towns and attractions such as Laugharne, Lamphey, Saundersfoot, Tenby and Pembroke.
This is a great cottage with great hosts and is well worth a visit. 

Very welcoming, well appointed with all you need. Comfortable and friendly owners. Breakfast was perfect. I stayed on a wet miserable day, but Bev cheared up the day and made my stay a happy one. I would happily recommend here to all nice peolpe.

We had booked the Manordaf B&B for a wedding this weekend but unfortunately my husband had been in a serious accident the week before and we are unable to attend. The staff have been so helpful through the booking process helping with recommendations and when we had to cancel.

We will 100% be looking to visit on a different date.

Anchor Cottage -Great Place to Stay

Amazing customer service

Although this B&B is just off a main road, there is very little noise from traffic in this accommodation.  It has its own parking and is also right next to the River Taff which can be enjoyed from a charming decked seating area overlooking the river and farmland.  The rooms are clean and fresh and a flask of fresh milk is provided daily for teas and coffees in the room, together with a plentiful supply of biscuits.  An alarm clock and hair dryer are also provided in the room.  During our stay the hostess was so obliging that had we needed anything else I am sure she would have done what she could to help us.  She was a font of knowledge with regard to local attractions, places to eat and best routes to take. Towels etc were not changed every day and as there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom and the radiator in the room was off we could not dry our towels.  We only had to mention this and fresh towels were provided straight away.  The only things that might have had the potential to cause complaint were the fact that mattress on the bed was a little thin so was a little hard on pressure points and there were two frosted glass panels in the ensuite bathroom door.  This made going to the toilet feel a little less private than preferred as the en suite bathroom was very small and the door was only a short distance from your knees when sat on the loo!  The only other issue if you are particularly large is the corner shower cubicle.  It is very small but the power in the shower itself more than makes up for it as it massages the soap out of your hair with very little arm movement needed so bumped elbows on cubicle doors etc is limited.  The matters I have mentioned, which I felt should be noted, are the only reason I did not feel I could give this B&B a rating of 5.  For us, these issues did not spoil our stay, it was lovely.  We booked more than one room and stayed more than one night so received a discount without even asking.  The breakfasts were excellent quality and more toast etc was offered.  A selection of fruit juices, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, toast, jam/marmalade and a full English cooked breakfast were provided.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B as it provided us with all we needed, was great value for money and was well-placed for all the attractions that we wanted to visit.
