Rookley Country Park

As a family we love the Isle Of Wight, I found this site last year, I originally booked the lowesr grade of caravan for £140 Feb half term, we were given an upgrade to an Indulgent Chalet/ Cottage. Oh have been spoilt it was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in, first thing we noticed we had our own back garden how good is that for the kids 😀, once inside wow good sized bedrooms lots of room in both, bathroom was lovely & bright again lots of room, our open plan living room kitchen was amazing absolutely stunning, all decorated up to date, we even had a dishwasher & washing machine which meant we didn't have to take loads of washing home, happy me we did a bit daily to keep it down. There was a bag of goodies for us too including Prosecco, apple juice, coffee, tea, biscuits & 2 pints of milk in the fridge I will be using my special Away Resorts bag all the time, there was also a washing up set, remember to plant your pencil when you get home and see what plant you get, we also had a small selection of washing products, did I mention we had a patio area with table & chairs lovely in hotter weather. The site itself is beautiful, there wasn't any entertainment but that's OK as we were off site every day I think there may be some in season, the restaurant wasn't open when we stayed again not a problem plenty of places to eat on the island, there is an arcade, a park area, lake activities in season, we enjoyed walking round the site taking in the beautiful views. We are looking at coming here again in season Fab staff we met too Shout out to Di she's lovely.
