Wanting to visit Morecambe, we chose the hotel as near there and easy to get to. Very welcoming and it was spotlessly clean; the food was delicious and good choice of Gluten Free meals; the staff were very pleasant and the ‘icing on my birthday cake’ was the lovely pool where I had my first swim in two years! Hazel and David Yeadon, Barnard Castle.

Recently returned from our wonderful stay at your fabulous Hotel, we did have a minor issue however that did not reflect from the time we spent and encounter the wonderful feel of your Hotel. Staff exceeded expectations and it was the little touches of care and attention to detail that done it for us and we would both like to Thank You everyone involved in the day to day running of the Hotel for making it a most memorable experience.

Everything was simply amazing. From the comfortable beds to the superb staff and especially for being so flexible and easy with the kids. Fantastic pool and spa area. Plenty of place to lounge around. Well kept gardens and a mixture of traditional and modern makes it a very pleasant and charming place.

A warm welcome greeted us  on a two day  break. Hotel is easily located just off the A6 and facilities are good . Our room  was a little dimly lit  but had reading lights above the bed . Main restaurant had a very limited choice  and all a bit pricey  though we did get a discount voucher 2nd night we ate in the Sandeman bar and  that was excellent  value. Breakfast has a decent help  yourself hot and cold  buffet with even a choice of sausage and bacon styles and my ordered poached eggs arrived  very quickly . Stand out feature though is the staff  - all very friendly welcoming helpful  and   professional

Stayed with my Daughter. From the moment we entered untill the moment we left was a absolutely fantastic. The facilities were amazing especially the outdoor hot tub. Food was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Absolutely recommend to anyone!

During the time our son was in Lancaster University, this hotel became our second home. It was a welcome place to arrive after our long journey from South Wales. The staff are friendly and extemely hepful. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need plus more!
The leisure area can be busy at times but the outside jaccusi is lovely. 
The restaurant can also be busy and the evening meal, although good quality is quite expensive. 
The breakfast is magnificent and the morning staff are excellent.
If you have a child studying at the university they can apparently join you for breakfast for free!
In the winter this is a really lovely place to visit and sit in the reception area for a drink by the log fire.

Really lovely hotel in the grounds of Lancaster University, just on the outside of the city. 

The room was a large double, it came complete with a wardrobe, tv, draws and a tea and coffee facilities. The room also had a private bathroom which had complimentary toiletries. The teddy on the bed was a lovely touch.

The room and hotel are all kept to a good standard, it was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. 

Yet again the wife surprised me with a night away. We have stayed here many times and always have a fantastic time.  From entering the main reception to be greeted by Lizzie who was very helpful even though our room wasn't ready, a very busy weekend for the hotel. So in to the bar we went for a light lunch in the sun garden. Our room was ready in no time and what a lovely room (I haven't stayed in the same room twice which is good). Everything you would expect from a great hotel. Our evening meal was excellent (to die for) a well done to the chefs who you don't see but know they work their socks off. The waiting staff where very attentive especially Myles, Adam and Jack who are a credit to the hotel. Thank you.

We’ve had a wonderful night away.. I just stayed one night with 2 young children. The staff are very professional, helpful and very welcoming. The children loved the little goody bag they received and we went swimming several times, they especially enjoyed splash time. The room was very clean and a perfect size and the breakfast in the morning delicious. I’ve already booked a return trip- this time with grandparents and extended family! 

This is a very comfortable quite traditional hotel with very good service and nice touches like delicious biscuits in the rooms. The Leisure Centre is great with good gym equipment and enough space and a wonderful warm indoor 15metre pool - great for working out. Excellent location on the edge of the university campus - good running routes. Great breakfasts with a lot of choices but the coffee is not good -  change the coffee to reach perfection!

A great birthday treat!

Weekend Stay 

Stayed here for two nights on our way back to Scotland from a medical apt in Leeds.  Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, lovely staff.  We stayed in a premium suite, I think, it was very comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Food in the restaurant was lovely too. 
Ewalina on reception and Kessie in the restaurant were particularly lovely. 
Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others.
