had the best stay the wife also enjoyed her stay sam & shirlly could not do enough for us very helpfull nothing was  a bother the room was very comffy the breackfast was to die for everything was hot and freash  hotel was lovely and clean throughout

Had a lovely stay at the Cranstone Hotel. Booked a last minute stay with my partner and Shirley couldn’t have been more accommodating. The room was clean and welcoming. Shirley was absolutely brilliant and extremely friendly. Great value for money, would recommend. Thanks again x

Just had a lovely time at the Cranstone hotel in Blackpool. Lovely welcome. Rooms were lovely, clean and tidy. Went over and above after our long day in town to make up comfortable. Slept like a log, beds were very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Was already stuffed on the continental selection. Thanks for having us and for the hospitality. Will definitely be back. 

Just returned from another fantastic weekend at the Cranstone. We try to go to Blackpool once every 2 or 3 years and look forward to staying here after stumbling upon it a few years ago. Shirley & Sam always greet us with a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. Shirley gave us lots of tips on places to go, the best shows to see etc.
Our room was perfect for us, lovely and clean with nice little touches (gorgeous Raspberry soap😁) biscuits, tea, coffee, tissues, shower gel etc. Lovely home from home with a welcoming feel. All the attractions are within easy reach too. Best breaky in Blackpool! Cant wait to go back.

As a family of 4, we have had a lovely stay here, Shirley was an amazing host and was very welcoming from the moment she opened the door to the moment we left. 
The room was clean and tidy and the boys loved the chocolate and biscuits which was left, a nice little treat. 
Breakfast was beautiful so much food and was really tasty. Shirley also accommodated for my extremely fussy child, thank you so much for that!! 
When my child hurt them self on the beach and we got back to Sam & Shirley they helped him and looked after us and told us if there was anything we needed just to ask., which we would of as they were both very approachable. 
We had the best weekend and all ready looking at booking again. 
Massive thank you to Sam & Shirley. See you again soon.

Booked with a voucher I had received for a gift and when I rang to enquire about any vacancies Shirley was so helpful and accommodated my booking over the busy weekend. The hotel is very clean, room was small but was what we needed for a 2 night stay and had an en-suite. Shirley is a wonderful host and the breakfast was fab. Also in a great location to experience the bright lights of blackpool. Will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend to anyone 😁

Another great few days at the Cranstone. As always, Sam and Shirley were on hand to meet our every need while always sticking to COVID rules, nothing is a bother and I always feel well looked after when I am there. Although I was quite nervous at being away from home, I felt very safe with the hotel and the resort. Throughout Blackpool, people were wearing masks, hand sanitizer was provided and information for track and trace was visible.

What a lovely hotel, received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble.  Great location,  fabulous breakfast and the room was clean and very comfortable.   Would definitely stay there again.  Thanks again for a lovely weekend.

Another great few days at the Cranstone

Myself and my partner have just had such a lovely weekend at the Cranstone Hotel.

From the minute I called to book (which was better value than booking.com) I felt that I knew this would be a lively, clean and welcoming place.

Down one of the side streets from the prom which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to not be walking forever.  Close to the train station if you need this and some free on street parking about 5 mins away but plenty of close council car parks.

Lovely clean room with lovely smelling clean bedding a lovely breakfast and the main thing for me a lovely environment for couples and families.

I will 100% be back either as a couple or a family

Bank Holiday Break

We have been staying at the Cranstone for the past 7 years.  When you stay here you are not just welcomed to stay at a hotel you are welcomed into Sam & Shirleys home.  From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave nothing is to much trouble. This hotel is located in a quiet street at the South end of the Blackpool prom meaning you will get a good night's sleep but are still close enough to the busier, northern end.  There's no parking at the Cranstone but if you speak to Shirley in advance of your arrival this can usually be arranged just a short walk away. Breakfast consists of a choice of cereal followed by a lovely full English breakfast.  Rooms are always warm with comfy beds.  You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

More than just a hotel 

Such a Fantastic weekend. When Checking in to the Cranstone, we was made to feel very welcome. The hotel has a cosy feel. Shirley the owner explained everything and nothing was too much trouble. Our room lovely and clean and everything was clean efficient.

We planned to go out for Dinner that evening. But instead, we ended up chatting in the bar with the owners and other guests. Before we new it, we had ordered food and the bar was busy. Again nothing was too much trouble. My two young boys can be fussy eater, at breakfast there was lots of options, and they both came away with happy full tummy’s. My full English breakfast, was also delightful! I would love to stay again.

What can I say.... going to the Cranstone Hotel is like visiting a family member you haven't seen for a while..your a bit unsure but when you arrive everything just falls into place. Lovely couple Shirley and Sammie proper home from home feeling. Breakfasts were delicious and you never had to wait. Rooms very clean and on returning from an evening walk it was lovely returning to a lovely warm Hotel. We have a son that is disabled and he was made so welcome Shirley and Sammie were not fazed at all. Didn't need any guide books Shirley knew what was going on and when so we didn't miss anything. Thank you both so much for a much needed break for us and making it special.  I would definitely recommend the Cranstone Hotel for a holiday stay to anybody. Cheers Beauty. xx
