Our second visit this year to Home Farm, what a treat! Given a very warm welcome when we arrived Jennifer is an absolute delight with an abundance of knowledge about the surrounding area! The lodge has everything you could possibly need, cleaned to the highest standard! Definitely somewhere to recharge your batteries and enjoy some quality time together!

Outstanding place, peaceful, quiet in a gloriously rural setting. 
Accomodation is brilliant, spotlessly clean with everything you need. 
The owners are beyond helpful, welcoming, friendly a true Yorkshire welcome. 
If you are after a quiet, contemplated stay this is the place for you.

We stayed in the Oak Lodge. My youngest son really loved the hot tub. The view was great with dark skies to observe the stars. Wild life included deer, rabbits, geese and lots of other birds. 
Friendly welcome from the staff. I can't fault it well worth the money.
Short trip by car to the centre of York. About a five minute drive from York designer Outlet. Easy access to the A19 and A64. Park and ride available. Easy to access shops and other resources.

What a beautiful place!! 
From the moment we got there to going home a week later we absolutely couldnt fault it! 
The lady that runs it was so wonderful and went out of her way to help you. 
The lodge was stunning, so warm, light and airy. We stayed in the beech lodge that had a hot tub. The tub was checked every day and the water was hot. We used the new bbq which worked perfectly. Kitchen came with everything you needed and the sofas were that comfy … we fell asleep on them. 
Beds were made up on arrival and the mattress was incredibly comfy, the only thing that was on the downside for us would be the size of the shower, its really small and you have to go sideways to get in but other then that we couldnt fault the holiday. 
We absolutely LOVED the night time visits from the farm cats, we had left the bathroom window open and we heard a bang, went to inspect and found Tigger had jumped through the window and was waiting for us on the toilet haha! 
Perfectly situated for York and the supermarket is really not far away. For a working farm and campsite we heard no noise at all. 
Definitely will be returning very soon!

We have found the perfect place to have some quality time together! The lodge was situated overlooking fields although when we arrived the river  had flooded them! Wow! an absolute amazing sight to see from the lodge, 
The lodge had everything we needed including the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from home! Our  Bracco  absolutely loved the place including the walks around the woods not too far away! The hosts made us feel so very welcome but also respected our privacy just lovely!
We will be returning thankyou Home Farm for a real treat !

Booked oak Lodge for our daughters 16th birthday. Immaculate on arrival, hosts nice and friendly also. Enjoyed the hot tub with the views of the clear skies! and to make it feel more home from home, we enjoyed a visit from a beautiful friendly cat on our last evening. 
Nice touch on the Sunday when some chocolates were left for the birthday girl! 
We have already been looking into when our annual leave matches up to try and book again.

A warm welcome from our hostess , beech lodge was clean and roomy with all ammenities , beds were very comfortable and the surroundings were scenic and tranquil all in all a perfect relaxing weekend  

Just coming to the end of a week long stay at home farm lodges, it's been peaceful and relaxing through out our stay here at this little corner of paradise.
We stayed in oak lodge with our dog shadow overlooking the fields of cows, which was relaxing to watch in the evening while having a drink in the hot tub.

The lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived and had everything we needed for our week long stay here. Oven, microwave, cooking utensils and even gas BBQ which was a bonus.

The owners Gordon and Jen were very friendly and helpful when we arrived, and nothing was to much trouble if we needed anything. Jen came every day to check and clean the hot tub which was great, she was very friendly with our dog shadow to which he liked.
They is also caravans on the site to and also some tent's pitched up in the area.

They are plenty of places for walking near by or just relaxing on the campsite

We all had a great and relaxing time here, Gordon and Jen are two lovely people and have a lovely and beautiful place here. We will definitely be booking again to stay in these beautiful and relaxing surroundings.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked 2 lodges one with a hot tub one without.amazing family weekend celebrations.the lodges ere noth spotless & cozy with everything we needed.everyone commented on the perfect location and will be booking again

staying at the ash lodge cabin at homefarm stillingfleet from the 11 november until 14 november lovely little cabin tne hospitality from gordon and jen was of excellent service ,the site was nice and rural ,well your in countryside what else would you expect.!
the cabin was nice and clean and warm. becuase of the respect we got from the owners
of the site we returned that respect back to the owners by clean up after ourselves and leaving the way we found. it which class1 condition would definetly return in the future.for sure.thankyou J & G from p and l ,county durham

2nd visit and will definitely NOT be our last! We absolutely ADORE this place! The lodges are perfect for a quiet getaway with so much to explore and use as a base. Last year, stayed in Willow Lodge and had the best time! This year, stayed in Ash Lodge (next door) and is just as amazing. Love the layout of the lodges, super cozy and you literally feel shut off from everyday life. Left to your own devices but if need anything, the staff will be there. Sitting on the porch with a drink and looking out over to fields of cows is super relaxing.  Aldi/Iceland within a 10 min drive, lovely pub 5 min drive for drinks and homecooked food (Blacksmith Arms.. also Dog Very Dog friendly). If have dogs, highly suggest Wheldrake Woods (approx 25 min drive) and let them loose, they will LOVE it! We have split our annual holiday between here and abroad (1 week each) so our pup gets a break too and she absolutely loves it. Already planning our visit for next year! 

2nd Visit.. Now a home from home!

We've had an amazing week at this beautiful cabin. We was welcomed with a smile and directly shown to our cabin. We stayed at the beach lodge which was out of this world, beds were amazing nice and comfortable. Nice and spacious for out little one to feel comfortable free and play with his toys even had our hot tub fixed immediately as there was a fault noticed before we arrived. Definitely worth the price. Love the natural nature and we were lucky to have amazing weather

A phone call from Jen to tell us which way to come as a result of flooding in the local area on our way was a great start to our trip. 

Friendly greeting on arrival, and a lovely warm cabin to go into. 

Everything spotless, and cabin well equipped. 

Bed was lovely and comfy, cabin nice and cosy.

We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay here again.
