Stayed at the Little Gem for three nights 
Enjoyed every minute, the Host Elaine was a delight extremely  attentive and interesting .
The room was well equipped and very comfortable her breakfast delicious and plentiful.Will definitely  return and recommend to others .Good luck for the future Elaine.

Elaine is a fabulous hostess. Lovely comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfasts. We felt very lucky to have have found the little Gem .. Spotlessly clean  and everything and more you would want. Would highly recommend 

We were met by the delightful Elaine who made us feel at home from the moment we stepped through the door and certainly made our little dog feel special too!  Our room was lovely and a good size double with plenty of hanging and storage space, TV WiFi and tea and coffee.  Elaine soon gave us a guide to what amenities could be found locally and places of interest to visit.  The breakfasts were delicious and always ready on time and we felt relaxed and ready for each days explorations.

Stayed here for three nights during a recent visit. We had the double room with the separate bathroom across the landing. The bed was really comfortable, we had some quality sleeps in this quiet cul-de-sac. Elaine proved to be an excellent host who does an amazing breakfast and certainly wants to share experiences with her guests. I'm going to miss our morning discussions over breakfast!!. Many thanks.

Lovely 2 night stay at Elaine's. Elaine is a great host, chatty and very welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Perfect location to explore the area. Lymington is a pretty little town, is not far. Would've stayed longer if there was time. Definitely recommend A Little Gem. We would stay again.

Wonderful 3 night stay, with our dog. Elaine is a great host, who cooks up a delicious breakfast. Very relaxing. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and the ensuite shower was great. A lovely little b and b. It is a little gem.

We stayed two nights at Elaine’s using it as a base for exploring the beautiful surrounding area.  One is spoiled for choice with Lymington, Beaulieu, and Exbury all nearby.  Elaine is a delightful lady with very high standards and a warm and witty manner. We have rarely had so much fun at breakfast.  We will return. 


I attempted to book at the Little Gem  through your  web site but was indicated the rooms were unavailable.This was not true as I booked by telephone  without any problems.This does not indicate that you are truly independent which seems rather strange for an "independent" firm.I shall be wary of your recommendations in future.

Fabulous one night stay with our two dogs. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and relaxed and a delicious breakfast and good conversation with Elaine. Very much appreciated and would definitely recommend The Little Gem.

Lovely little place. Very clean, breakfast was delicious, friendly owner, very conveniently placed. Highly recommended. My little Jack Russel was equally happy and comfortable as myself and my son! Parking was ample and there are lots of little eateries for evening dinner in the vacinity. Lots to do in the area.

We stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday, and really enjoyed our stay. Elaine was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and we very much enjoyed the home-cooked breakfast she prepared for us. The room was comfortable and quiet. The location is good as well - a little walk into Lymington, but the local pub nearby is good for a meal if you cannot be bothered to walk very far! Also top tip - Uber works in the area, so it is easy to get into town if it is raining! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
