Travelodge Knutsford M6 hotel

Having previously had a bad experience with trucks revving up during the night outside our window, we were delighted that Julie had already arranged for us to have a room on the quiet side of the building. I asked for a hairdryer which was promptly supplied, and when we asked for a second armchair in our room she appeared with one within minutes. Aways cheerful and helpful. The staff here are always really good. We always choose this Travelodge when travelling between Scotland and England.

Excellent - but since my return a parking fine has arrived for the time I spent at Moto Services, Knutsford.  This is despite my vehicle details being entered into the system by reception staff ! Now I await the result of my appeal !!!

Clean, fresh smelling tidy room. Friendly staff and fast check in/out. Will definitely staff again. Only downside was a little noisy outside with traffic but settled through the night so didn’t effect sleep. 

Knutsford is well placed for Manchester airport and access to M6 motorway make it a great location. The absence of a cooked breakfast facility is an issue but for one night I can live with that. Overall staff, car parking and room satisfactory.

Great place for a quiet overnight stay travelling from South of England to Scotland. Have stayed many times and never disappointed with cleanliness and comfort of rooms. This time Shirley at reception was so kind and welcoming it added a plus to our stay.

Easy to find from the southbound M6 - good directions given. Quiet & comfortable room. Pleasant, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. A restful break on our journey home. Would certainly stop here again if we needed a break.


Nice clean room, I would happily stay here again. It is a little noisy facing the BO garage where the lorries park up, it won’t keep you up though. The shower is hot, I’ve stayed in a few where the shower is not that great. Being a twin room, it could do with more tea making facilities.

The room was normal as expected but Gary was really great, he made the stay a better experience. He was really helpful, very cheery even on the graveyard shift, 10/10 would recommend Gazza! Hope you have a great wedding, mate!

Stayed in this hotel for three nights . The staff , Celsey and Emily were really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Celsey took time out to find a car park that was next to a show we had booked in Manchester. Emily had great knowledge on the bus times and routes . They are a credit to the travelodge . Will definitely be using this hotel again. 

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and it doesn’t disappoint. The staff are really helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Celsey the Manager and her colleague Emily helped us out when we were unsure of where to park in Manchester as we were seeing a show and didn’t want to pay over the odds for parking. Celsey took the time to research the different car parks and find a good deal for us which we really appreciated. The rooms are clean, beds really comfortable so overall a perfect hotel to pick if you’re thinking of visiting Knutsford and Manchester.

A good place to stop on the M6. Staff always helpful and cheerful.

No plugs near the bed to charge your phone. This disabled room had a bath with shower over the bath. So no chance of having a shower. It was clean and presentable and the heating was on so was lovely to walk into. We arrived late and left early so never heard any noise. Safe to leave things inside car. We managed to park right outside entrance.
