The Fife Arms Hotel

My friend and I booked two rooms a few weeks previously, having had difficulty finding space at any of the small number of other hotels in Keith. I'll be honest - some of the reviews I'd seen here were a little off-putting, but we needed somewhere in the town, if only a bed... I spend much of my life in hotels, so I know good from bad.... We were amazed. We had a couple of really lovely rooms, which I think must have been very recently refurbished (perhaps some of the older reviews here relate to a time before renovation?) and the whole place was clean and very well appointed. What impressed me most of all was the very genuine warmth of welcome, and a willingness to help. We had various troubles with one of our vehicles on the morning of departure, but our host couldn't have been more accommodating in terms of letting us take coffee outside, delaying our breakfast (several times!) My brother-in-law lives in Keith, so I'm going to have further need for accommodation. The Fife Arms Hotel is now at the top of my list!
