One of the best B&B we have stayed at. What a lovely building which was spotless and had everything we needed. In a great location to see all of Hastings and Brendan the manager could not do enough for us he had everything covered from parking, booking an evening meal in the town and a really good breakfast. Great experience and if in the Hastings area again we will definitely stay at the Swan House. 

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Gorgeous house and Brendan was such a lovely host. Hastings is a stunning town, breakfast was delicious and things like the fireplace, honesty bar and the beautiful room made it a perfect weekend. Cant wait for our next stay.

A super stay at Swan House. Excellent service from Brendan- support with parking on arrival, welcome drinks and a fantastic breakfast menu. A lovely house, tasteful decorated - home from home! Would love to stay again.

This is our second visit, and it was as excellent as the first time.We were warmly welcomed by the owner Brendon,the rooms are superb and the beds extremely comfortable.There is a free car park a few minutes away.They have a drinks fridge in the lounge with wine etc to buy and also you can chill your own drinks.Lovely outside courtyard garden with tables and chairs,and a so cosy lounge to relax after a busy day.Breakfast is superb with a wide choice of cooked food, juices,and yogurts etc,all served by the very friendly  Beth. If you are coming to Hastings make sure you  stay at  Swan House .

Several members of my family booked in to the Swan House for a nostalgic trip to Hastings. The rooms were full of atmosphere, beautifully clean and with several nice touches which made our stay memorable. Brendon and his team, couldn't have made us more welcome, going out of their way, to ensure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was served to us in the patio garden, which with the sun shining was very enjoyable. Food was cooked to perfection and customised to our requirements, so everyone in our party was very happy and they all commented on how good everything was. Even after we had gone home, Brenden kept in touch and even sent my mother a picture of the hotel as a memento, which was much appreciated. Overall a great experience and one we would like to repeat.

This is a real gem! Homey yet professional staff and very high standards in everything. Impeccably clean, breakfast to die for, comfy beds etc etc. Brendan took extra care to arrange non-dairy milk for me as well as non-dairy yoghurt in the morning which was very appreciated. He also knows the best places to eat and nothing is too much trouble. All defiantly return next time I need a break from London!

Swan House offers superb accommodation at a very reasonable tariff. Brendan is a courteous and enthusiastic host, the place is spotless, the rooms are beautifully arranged and decorated and the included breakfast features delicious locally sourced ingredients. The warm welcome is enhanced by coffee on arrival, taken on comfortable sofas in front of an open fire, while Brendan explains what's on offer both within Swan House and beyond in Hastings. A free parking permit is also available on request. Clearly we loved it and can't wait to return.

I booked my parents and sister in during the pandemic for a much needed short break while we stayed in Rye in our caravan. Visiting them each day and walking around this quaint and busy seaside town made for a wonderful holiday. We could not fault Swan house - the ambience, quality, food and decor was all outstanding - not to mention the care from all staff.  

We loved our visit to Swan House! Brendan is well organised, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Garden Room and loved the decor, and personal touches. I really wish we could have stayed longer.

A gem of a find. Great location in Old Town. Close to lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and the seafront. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Breakfast and rooms great. This was our second stay and proved just as good as the first - already planning our next visit. Thoroughly recommend for a weekend away or a short break.

Swan House - Hastings

My boyfriend and I had 3 nights and Swan House and I was heartbroken to leave at the end of our stay because we had such a lovely time. Brendan is the perfect host and made us feel so welcome. The room had everything we needed and breakfast in the garden was the highlight of my day! Swan House is in such a great location we ended up not using the car the whole time we were there! We can't wait to come back :)

Pure bliss

What a find! Swan House is a gem of a place. Gorgeous property, fabulous food in the perfect location. We were there with our two young children and had the adjoining rooms. The stay was perfect. Wish we could stay longer. This is a superb place for the beach, all the cool boutiques and excellent restaurants Hastings has to offer. We are definitely coming back.

Perfectly Executed

Had a fantastic 2 day break in mid July, everything about this B & B was amazing from the breakfasts prepared by Bethany to the attention from Brendan. Even the recomendations for dinner ( Webbes At Rock A Nore ) only 350 yards away to pre dinner drinks at either Porters ( 100 yds ) and Ye Olde Pumphouse ( 150 yds ). Will definitely return to this B & B if ever in Hastings again.
