On arrival was met by the hotel manager Jan and assistant manager Steve ,firstly Jan wished me a happy anniversary,then as I was checking in he said “Steve will show you to your room “ Steven the. “ follow me, we have a upgraded your room because it’s your anniversary! We walked along the corridors and he said open the door with your key which was a key card. As I open the door into the most beautiful room, I had stayed in at Alfa Hotel. it was huge to lovely single bed as as I had requested twin beds as my husband had been suffering with very bad sciatica there was a fridge in the room with wine and soft drinks and water which were complimentary of the hotel due to celebrating our anniversary at a huge window. Also the bathroom was immaculately presented with the walk-in shower and a huge bath, it was impeccable I said to Steve how grateful I was as my husband had been so poorly. The last few weeks this is wonderful surprise and I could not thank him enough even went and found my husband who loitering in the foyer, On Christmas morning, my husband is experiencing agonising pain in his leg and he decided to stay in bed until his painkillers had worked. I went down to the reception and spoke to Jayne the manager and he said I will take your husband up a full breakfast on a tray. Would that be nice and I said he probably wouldn’t eat it but I will take him up some toast when I’ve had my breakfast and he said that’s fine. Whatever you want we will do. After my breakfast, Jayne brought over a try of toast, butter and jam and orange juice , I cannot appraise this hotel, the staff, the management enough for the kindness I showed me and my husband we had one of the best Christmas days we had ever had, They constantly checked to see if he was okay. If there’s anything they could do to make him feel more comfortable they could not have done more. Thank you Jayne, Steve and staff, this is our second trip to this hotel for Christmas last year was very good. This year was outstanding excellent can’t say enough about how great it was., the room we stayed in was a newly refurbished superior room which I would recommend to anyone staying there. Seaview was beautiful.
