Site is starting to look tired .excellent market day Sundays. When we booked we was told pub was open it shut by 7pm not good when your paying £37 a night . To say its a 5 star site the fish and chips are terrible they used to be nice years ago but terrible now and the owner of the pub and fish shop has a terrible attitude

Holiday

When we arrived at the park we was made aware that some of the pitches where flooded which is fair enough and we was moved to a better pitch however when we got to the said pitch that was also flooded and parking up was a mission. Following on from this very rude and snotty receptionist I understand they was a lot of stress but when asked was an email or phone call even thought off to let us know our pitch was flooded she said well no I can’t phone up everyone which our response was so if I get to my pitch and I am not happy can I have a full refund her answer was no we can’t have any money back however come back tomorrow and we can issue a credit note. The gentleman that showed us to our pitch was really nice and helpful can’t say same about receptionist, day after packed up and went home a day early due to the pitch being very muddy and a slip and slide we had to be pushed out of our pitch because of the mud. Went to reception to get our credit note as said however even tho we wasn’t made aware of this because we was an hour late of checking out we wasn’t given a credit note but a part refund, was the same receptionist that was still being funny and awful considering we went back and did everything she asked us to do. Won’t be coming back at all very poorly managed and very rude and nasty receptionist. If we was made aware of conditions we wouldn’t of come.

Had a 2 week stay with our tourer. Great site, the drive in is impressive and very well maintained. Plenty if room around your plot. Good facilities on site.i.e. clubhouse, shop,fish shop,laundry. Lovely Sunday Market and carboot on site. Fabulous site for dogs with a nice tidy dog walk. Only one negative for us was the shower block, in great need of a  revamp ,rundown and very tired. However, we have booked 2 wks for next August, and can't wait to go back.

On returning here many times, we still love the place just as much, if not more! Stayed in a 2 bed caravan. The thing that makes this place are the staff in reception, matanance, security and cleaners they are all so friendly and gives you a real good feeling while on holiday. Our caravan was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed to cook on an evening after spending days walking along the cliffs. We love the market on a Sunday, that is really worth a visit. We went to the pool twice which is really nicely kept (must admit the staff here are not as friendly the manager he is actually quite rude) but we didn't let it spoil things it's just a shame as he let's the rest of the staff at Skirlington down. We enjoyed visiting the shop, cafe, arcade and fish and chip shop and again all the staff we met here were just so lovely! We have already booked a week to return once again next year, but imagine we might book a long weekend too. Thank you for a great holiday, and to anyone that has booked you will not be disappointed.

Love this Place

This site is run down and needs updating, the Hollywood Diner is expensive and not very good quality food, definitely not a 5 star park.
The new parts of the site with static caravans seems more like a travellers site.

would not recommend

Stayed here last year was OK, this year its gone downhill so much so won't be returning back nxt yr,,lack of entertainment and no where inside for dogs to go, dirty tables outside the tow bar, dirty toilets at East field, cobwebs,faeces splattered in the toilets, I've never seen any  cleaners, half the toilet seats were broken, bins overflowing it's dirty!!!!!
It is no where near a 5 star !!! 
Needs a huge refurbishment and updating. A huge shame as it has potential to be great.
As for security driving around????? What security? Never saw any. Didn't feel safe or secure leaving our van here as on the fb group people had been broken into. Seriously avoid this place it's all about taking your money but providing you with run down dirty areas. 


Gone downhill massively 

Great week away, booked for next year while we were there. Cafe, chip shop and diner all great food and not overpriced, good entertainment at night for the kids. Fab views aswell. Loads of space in the bar and drinks weren't too pricey.

Great family holiday.

Lovely place will go back with the kids as we just went as a couple for the weekend, very friendly staff and lovely facilities. Next to the market and carboot which was good also. The fish and chip shop was lovely on site and shop was very convenient too.

Great hospitality upon arrival , gentleman that personally drove us to our caravan ,  he had already warmed the caravan up . Caravan was spotless and better than advertised on hoseasons 

The young lady that took it on to run some children entertainment on Friday night after staff illness deserves a promotion. She did a fantastic job ! 

We got engaged on the cliffs to the right of the park . Beautiful scenery !

Food offerings were tasty and well priced . Chip shop and diner ! 

Only gripes where no access to the beach ( I’m guessing this is due to erosion and weather ) and the indoor playarea in the arcade was closed 

Would stay again !

Lovely place to stay for our engagement weekend !

We come here a lot. 
Good pool, (pre-booking required), shop,pub, chippy is ok. Access to sand and pebble beach. 
Security guards patrol the site, day and night. 
A big shout out to the entertainment manager Mat. Regular bands and singers and a great show for the kids. Talent competitions, bingo, etc. If you are like me and feel you miss out on exercise whilst away from home joining in with the party dances is a great work out. Occasionally idiots causing a ruckus ofter midnight but security have a number you can ring them on.

Hornsea, Bridlington and Bevely all within reach. Lovely beach walk to Mr Moos ice-cream parlour, check tide times!

Would definitely recomend!
