Norfolk Courtyard

There are simply not enough stars to give this property justice. My 5y son and I needed a place to stay for a week (short notice) and from the moment we pulled into the peastone driveway of this beautifully restored country estate, I knew we were in store for a truly special experience. Stockman's Cottage was like my dream home come true. The charm, splendour and warmth is something I have never experienced before. Everything is meticulously decorated with antique furniture. Simon and Catherine have literally thought of everything right down to the quality of toilet paper. From their fully stocked darling kitchen (with cook books and dishes galore) which they even had fresh milk, eggs, bread, butter and orange juice already in the fridge for us!!! Having cleaning/laundry detergents on hand, to the incredibly comfortable beds and linens. My absolute favourite part was the wood fireplace and plush cushions everywhere (A Book Reader's Dream!!!). Every early morning I would step outside with my coffee to the sounds of birds and the trickle of a nearby stream and marvel at the misty norfolk countryside. "I kid you not" It looked like a scene straight out of Pride and Prejudice. Simon was immediately attentive to any questions and/or needs that I had. He even brought bins of extra toys for my son to play with. I can't thank them enough for having made, what would have been a rather sad visit for me, into a truly magical one. I highly recommend Norfolk Courtyard and will indefinitely stay here again when I return. Jess & Liam
