Brilliant food on Sunday especially the carrots. Terry and Lana are really welcoming. They make you feel as if you are part of their family. The non alcoholic brown ale is full of flavour and Hubby loves both the wheat bee and the Sam Smiths bitter.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Swann Inn. The room I stayed in was cosy and super clean. The bed is comfortable and I slept like a baby. The landlady and landlord, Svetlana and Terry, are attentive  and welcoming. 

The food and drinks are another highlight. The roast dinner was delicious and reasonably priced!

I stayed there as I was visiting my daughter who lives near by and didn't have suitable accommodation for me, as their house have a lot of stairs and I have a problem with my knees. The Swan was a perfect solution as the downstairs rooms are accessible directly from the parking without the need to use stairs. 
It was very simple but lovely and clean. The room was very homey and cosy, and the staff was friendly.
I was surprised that I didn't hear the trains at all even though the pub is adjacent to the train station. In short it was a lovely stay and I would love to come back again

We needed a place to stay in Holmes Chapel & found the swan inn...what a gem.
The hosts & staff were very friendly & the bar with open fire was cozy.
We had evening meal food & drink were fabulous & very reasonable. Our double room was nicely furnished & spotless.
We also had full breakfast which was cooked fresh to order. 
I cannot recommend this place enough and will stay again when we are in the area . Many Thanks

Fantastic.....NO PHONES...... Awesome, all pubs should do this, seems like the simple art of conversation  is back.  Nice ambience, friendly staff, good beer. Made my way from Hampshire to visit this very special and unique pub with no brainless dummys staring at phones.  Will return without a doubt. 

We popped in The Swan Inn, The Managers Angela & James were most welcoming and friendly. Food was brilliant and served quickly. All credit to the Managerd who served at the bar, cooked and waited on, as well as chatting to all their customers. 

Lovely friendly pub. The couple who run it, Angela and James, are really welcoming. They always have a chat with people. Its the only pub I know of where you can go in and everyone will have a chat with you. The fires are a lovely feature. 

We stayed hear a couple of times when visiting family and we were very happy with our stay. So sad that it is no longer available as we would book again in a heart beat.
Don't know why we can no longer book so sad as it was so convienient for us. Comments by locals about changes seem a bit negative and probably haven't helped. Change is not good for everyone but things change, shame a good buisness has closed.     (Havent been able to book for a couple of year now but no option to put this on the when did you stay option),

If you're looking for a comfy, local and amenable stay in Holmes Chapel then this is a must. 

My boyfriend and I stayed overnight at the Swan Inn following a friend's birthday nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by the room we were allocated. 

A full cooked English followed the next morning - tasted great and was included in our £80 double bed stay. 

Overall a lovely stay and highly recommended to anyone looking for a stay in the area.

Myself and my friend came to stay for 2 nights to go to a wedding. Very easy location for the train station. Easy reach of local shops. The room itself was very very clean and the bed firm and comfy. Very good value for money, especially with breakfast included. We thought the noise from the road or rail would keep us up but it didn't bother us at all. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to friends and family.
