Fantastic place I would definitely recommend it. The food and drinks selection are great.

Small and cosy. The ladies at the pub were very nice . Breakfast delicious! Good space to park.

I use this pub a great deal and often stay. The rooms are clean and well managed and the food is equally good. Michael, the owner runs it with ease with a long standing superb team headed by James. The beer is kept extremely well and you really won’t get a poor pint. They also know how to mix a decent Negroni. It’s the best pub/restaurant for miles.

Lovely old pub and inn, we stayed for a night in a cosy room. Fantastic food, great service and lovely staff. Defintely recommend.

We visited the pub with friends on our way back to Switzerland.The pub has so much character. It was so nice to visit a traditional pub & see the history in the beautiful setting of Dunstew. The menu was fabulous, lots of choice, we all had different starters & main meals, everything was gorgeous! We would loved to have ordered desserts,sadly there was only room for a coffee.  We will visit again!

Travelling back to south coast we deviated off the M40, with a view to finding a nice pub. We were  not disappointed at all, and found the pub to be most welcoming, and offered a table for 2 with no hesitation. Being Sunday and father's day at 7pm, food was still available, and the fish and chip's and burger we're perfectly cooked and very tasty. James the manager attentive and looked after us very well. They have rooms too, a bonus we will be back. 

Fabulous old English country inn situated in a stunning spot in Oxfordhsire. Ooozes history and charm with fabulous walks and places to see round about.

We live near the White Horse. Over the New Year some of our guest relations (from Australia) frequented  the White Horse. They have asked us to pass on their complements and thanks to Michael and his team for making their stay so enjoyable.

First visit to this pub/restaurant and I was absolutely delighted with everything about the place. The staff, the beer, the food were all excellent.

First-time visit and very impressed. Excellent ale, super tempura fish and chips, lamb open sandwich was terrific. A great spot, looks like a good evening place with the dark bar, wonderful timbers, playful wine list and good to see so many malts.

A lovely weekend exploring the cotswolds and stayed the night at The White Horse. This was a lovely pub and stay. Had a delicious dinner and Breakfast. Credit to the friendly Chef and staff at the White Horse. Rooms are a bit tired and could do with an update but the bed was very comfortable. The location is lovely and quiet too. Would recommend.

You must try this pub if you want gorgeous food & a friendly welcone!

Nice location and friendly staff. Room was clean but only one towel left on the bed. Had to go back into the pub to ask for another as there were two of us. 
Came to make a cuppa in the morning and everything but milk. Only two plug sockets in the whole room and nowhere near the wall mirror for someone who wants to dry their hair with a hair dryer.
Only minor things but they make a difference to your stay and these little things make a difference.

A little Gem

Just needed a pub lunch so took the 'brown sign' off the main road.
Warmly welcomed on arrival and pointed to the open hearth fire for a table nearby.

I can't improve on the pub's features description - all accurate - and we didn't stay there but what magnificent food at decent prices.

Decent beer too.

The White Horse doesn't need my review but I just wanted to give credit where it's due.

Found by accident but what a find!

Spent an amazing night at the White Horse Inn and cannot rate more highly. Great food and incredible hospitality. The entire experiences felt like it was sprinkled with magic dust. The landlord and his daughter were completely charming. The room had character, as did the Inn itself and we could not have been made to feel more welcome. We don’t live very close sadly but would not hesitate to return. It was a hidden gem. Thanks for an amazing and unexpectedly pleasurable evening and stay. First class!

Amazing!

Short weekend break in the Cotswolds. Found this gem of a place in Duns Tew. Cosy rooms, lovely Pub and superb food, fine dining at it's best. Michael and his staff are welcoming, hospitable and go out of their way to make you feel as if you are old mates. I'd highly recommend the White Horse Inn to anyone wanting to get away to a stunning part of the Country.

Superb weekend break

A really fantastic pub and restaurant. We were staying in the area and found on Google maps. The staff we’re really amazing, helpful and accommodating (not always in the case when you have a pram with you!). The food was absolutely first class, some of the best we’d ever had. The pub itself has the look and feel you’d want and expect from a village location like this. Couldn’t recommend more.

Amazing food and service, definitely recommend

Really lovely welcome from the staff upon arrival. The place has a real 'family' vibe and everyone was extremely friendly. As soon as we arrived we were offered a drink and taken to our room which was very cosy and warm. Breakfast was included and was a nice full English. We were also greeted by what looks to be a resident cat, Oscar who was adorable and didn't want us to leave (because he was having a snooze in the car park blocking the exit). Definitely the place to stay around Bicester if you're looking for somewhere clean, friendly and comfortable with super friendly staff.
