We stayed here for one night when coming to see a football game which was ideal as the ground is two minutes away. I must admit the reviews left me worried but I decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. As it is a private guest house I started by giving the owner a call to confirm my ETA, this was appreciated and helped set the tone. He was polite, friendly and welcoming. The property itself it beautiful and very well decorated along with being spotlessly clean. The bed was furnished excellently and the whole place gives a homely feeling that is a million miles from budget hotels of similar price. Plenty of complimentary tea & coffee were provided. We were welcomed by our host and he was extremely courteous and diligent. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. A tip.....When visiting private guest houses you are staying in someone's home, a little courtesy and politeness goes a long long way. I disregard the negative reviews completely.
