Rosewood Abu Dhabi

We were looking for some winter sun and went here for seven nights. It was our first time in Abu Dhabi and in general we found it to be much more relaxed, less busy, than Dubai. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Galleria Mall and you can access it via the lower ground level from the hotel lifts. It is beside a creek with some other high buildings forming the majority of the view. Ubers are available and good value, so we found it simple to get to other areas like the Corniche, Saadiyat and Yas. We booked a B&B package and the breakfast was really worth the extra. Not only an exquisite buffet, but freshly cooked food to order too. There was a conference going on at the time of our visit and the only time we even noticed them was that one day breakfast was really busy. The staff did their utmost to make sure we were OK. The next day we just came down a little later. Our room faced the pool below and the Four Seasons. We could even see the Guggenheim being built in the distance. It was very luxurious and most evenings there was some complimentary food left for us. We went around the pool every day. Although not massive, we always got a lounger and the pool/bar staff were very helpful in finding us a shady spot. They also brought us complimentary drinks, cold towels or lollies most days. Alcoholic drinks were reasonable value for such a high quality establishment. It was nice and quiet. The music was a bit loud one day, but when I asked they turned it down. The stand out memory though is the staff, they really could not do enough for you. It was a fantastic and memorable stay and we would struggle not to stay here when we are in Abu Dhabi next.
