All good except they charge for the good coffee??

The rooms are reasonable price and it was very relaxing and quiet by the pool area, staff are very friendly and helpful!

We stayed for 5 nights in total at the Vira Apart Suites (at both ends of a sailing holiday) , we stayed in the newest block (rooms 32-22) which were well designed and constructed with large a comfortable bed, a large walk in shower, A/C, fridge, balcony with chairs and table; everything was faultless. In the centre of apartment blocks was a deep , cool , very clean  freshwater swimming pool with sun loungers and shade. 
A beautiful and tasty Turkish buffet breakfast was served each morning in the separate restaurant building which overlooks the pool (other meals could also be bought throughout the day).
Everything in the complex was spotlessly clean, safe and well maintained; and it was only a 200 metre walk into town / seafront.
Best of all was the people who ran this business, everyone we met was cheerful, friendly and super helpful; we will definitely return here when next in Gocek.

Great pre sailing hotel stay for 3 nights, lovely family and team; pool is the perfect temperature; everything’s clean and so friendly.
Attentive staff always smiling and working to make your hols great.
We arranged for a day room also at the end of the trip, what a joy to chill out by the pool again, rest on the white cotton sheets and decompress after a long and fun 10 days.

Dennis and Cafe associates went out of their way to accommodate our large group of 12 and made sure we were all taken care of. Each one of them seemed eager to make us feel welcomed and made every effort to assist any of our needs and make our stay enjoyable--all with a smile.

Good location to shops and marina area. Good for short stay as well. As our flight was delayed. Staff were helpful as well for check in and helping us order food.

We stayed here with family for around 3 days (way too short) we were welcomed really nicely. Our room had airco  which was really great. A kitchen and balcony was included. We had breakfast every morning. All handmade by the kitchen staff. The staff were all very nice and never hesitated to make small talk with all the guests. The pool is big and for 2 days we had the whole pool for ourselves which made us feel as if we had a private pool. The food in general was really nice. I have no bad things to say about this hotel. Loved our short but amazing stay

Another wonderfully relaxing few days in Vira Aparthotel either side of a sailing holiday from Gocek. Ramazan and his staff always make us feel welcome as old friends.
Located just a few minutes walk from the seafront, Vira is a quiet and unassuming place. Rooms are large with a kitchenette and lounge area with bed serving as a second room.
The new Sera Bistro Restaurant is a fantastic new facility. Breakfast is simple continental style. Lunch and dinner is offered and are a must! Every meal we had has been very good. From a huge Sea Bass to Spaghetti Bolognese, we were never disappointed. All at very reasonable prices.
The staff are very charming and friendly, and among the laughs and general chit chats we had maintain a professional appearance and approach. They are a real asset to the place.
Vira is ideal for all manner of guests; families, groups of friends and romantic couples.
We will definitely be staying here again.

Great hotel

Wonderfully relaxing. New restaurant Sera Bistro is a great addition. 

We recently stayed at The Göcek Apart Hotel for two nights while visiting Göcek for an open water swimming competition. The units are modern, clean and serviceable. Having the small kitchen was a great benefit as we needed to prepare a high protein,  early morning breakfast for ourselves one day. The balcony was large and had a nice drying rack for all our towels and swim suits.

The hotel is located a short walk from the harbour and we were also able to use the very reasonably priced Havas bus at Dalaman airport, as the hotel is just a ten minıute walk from were the airport transfer bus drops you off.

The staff were all friendly and accommodated a slightly late check out as we were still swimming our 6 km race!!! After finally checking out, we headed downtown to the seafront to get a bite to eat. When we finished our meal and asked for our bill we were told that Vira Apart Hotel had paid our bill as a thank you and congratulations on our swimming success. We were blown over and wondered how the hotel knew which restaurant we had gone to. They told us Göcek was very small and everyone knew each other. Of course, when we returned to the hotel to pick up our bags before going to the airport, we told them how thoughtful they were. For a small hotel to show this type of appreciation in a pandemic year which has meant everyone in the tourism industry has lost money, was truly remarkable.

A peaceful and sincere place. Location is placed on the main street, since Göcek is a great place to boat tours, 5 minutes walk away to the port and you can reach almost anywhere without a car. Vira Apart offers a good and delicious breakfast service. I stayed at this hotel with my family and we were satisfied with the clean and cozy rooms. With the kitchen in our rooms, we prepared our dinners and ate it in the garden, near the pool. Feels like home :)

We have stayed in Gocek several times but this apartment was conveniently placed for the main street, a short two minutes walk away. The owner, his wife and staff are all very friendly and with the aid of pigeon English, pigeon Turkish and a google translator we successfully managed to converse. They were advised that one of our party was gluten free and kindly got bread, rolls, biscuits and crispbread for her so she could enjoy them at breakfast. (Gourmet Garage - a deli - in the does sell a range of gf and british foods)
Breakfast was typically Turkish with the owners wife home making alot of the fare including sun dried tomatoes in a passata type sauce which was delicious. we had various cheeses, egg, fresh melon, burrits, olives, tomatoes,cucumber, fresh bread, meats, homemade jams, savoury potatoes and freshly made juices. Cereals were also available along with turkish tea and coffee. The dining area is al fresco but also undercover in case of rain, it can also be enclosed fully with glass doors. It was enjoyable to sit beneath the grape vine and overlook the pool whilst having breakfast. The owner made a point of talking to us at breakfast at each day to ensure we were all OK. The majority of guests seemed to be either German or Turkish but we managed conversation with them!!!
Our room was no. 10, a self catering apartment consisting of bedroom, lounge/kitchen and bathroom. It was in an older part of the hotel and quite simple in decor but very clean. Our friends had room 7 just below us, and found that some of the kitchen items were missing, ie plates and cups, but we mentioned this and were told to take them from the breakfast room.
The hob worked well and heated up very quickly, the fridge was efficient, there was not a microwave in either of our rooms. Plenty of wardrobe space for two of us and although the room could sleep 4 (or 6 if you used the pull out sofa) there would have been a shortage of clothes storage space. As it was just two of us this was not an issue. The bedroom did not have any bedside lights but this was not a problem. Plenty of electrical sockets. There was a nice balcony off the bedroom and lounge, which had a little table and two chairs - the only table in this apartment. This overlooked the garden where alot of the fruit and veg were grown to supply the breakfast table. At night we could leave the doors open except the main one, to let in cooler air instead of using the air con. Having said this the air con was not noisy at all and very efficient. The bed was very comfy, quite firm and had a proper divan base, spare blankets were provided if required.
The bathroom was clean, the rainfall shower good and hot, and linens and towels were replaced regularly.
The pool area was lovely, with sun shades to cover all loungers, it was cleaned every night.
There is a limited bar which runs from the breakfast room, but handy if you dont want to walk to the main street. 
The dolmus to Fethiye goes from right outside the hotel although on this occasion we didnt use it.
The owners are very pleasant and keen to help you with local knowledge of the area.
Generally well placed hotel  as it is only two minutes walk to the main street where you can while away your time looking in the shops, just sit looking at the yachts, or enjoy a meal in one of the many friendly restaurants.
All in all good value for what we paid (£42 a night in Sept for the room), we spent alot of the time around the pool during the day, often the only ones there,  and went out in the evening. Very friendly owners and staff.

Clean, welcoming and friendly

Two friends. We stayed at the Vira Aparthotel for two nights either side of a sailing holiday.
We found staff to be welcoming and friendly. Not a lot of English is spoken, but that can add to the experience so it wasn't a problem.
Just 5 minutes walk from Gocek centre, on a fairly quiet street, Vira is in a good location. A few quiet bars/restaurants line the route into town, so nights out are very close by.
Apartments are spacious and well laid out: fridge, hob, microwave and tv. Air con is good - we paid no extra for it. The showers are great and the beds comfortable. Views are varied - over the pool, facing other buildings or over trees towards town centre. At least 3 apartments are directly alongside the pool. It's not noisy, so I will definitely request one of these next time. The Vira serves the usual continental type breakfast, and coffee/Turkish tea seems to be available all day. The bar is a limited supply of bottled beer and wine in a cooler. That was enough to keep us happy, supping into the night with the night porter and a few other guests for company. We spent many hours doing this, enjoying the warm nights.
Gocek is a lovely small town, but has limited activities: no beach and one nightclub to speak of. The usual day trip gullets are in abundance. If you like boats, this is the place to be!
Waterfront restaurants tend to be a little more expensive than this in the centre or on side streets.
One piece if advice: take plenty of mozzie repellent - there are plenty of angry biting flies around the whole of the Fethiye Gulf! Yes - they really do bite!
I thoroughly enjoy sailing off Gocek - there are so many small coves in which to anchor up or berth alongside a rickety jetty. Ideal.
I would recommend Vira Aparthotel to small groups of friends, families and couples. It's not what I would call a romantic setting, but it's a quiet place so I'm sure romantics will find a quiet spot to sit alone.

Wonderful, clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. The rooms were clean and comfortable, a little road noise but nothing that bothered us. There is a beautifully kept garden and pool area and the breakfasts were delicious with fresh home grown produce.
Easy walking to anywhere in the town and a really good laundry service close by.
Thankyou everyone at Vera for making our stay in your beautiful country so memorable. Hopefully we will return one day

We stayed here for 1 month using it as a base for our stay in Turkey

We needed a hotel for a couple of days before and after a yacht charter from Göcek and were recommended Vira by Portway Turkey Charters.
We’ve stayed here twice now and found it clean, comfortable and sensibly priced. Our ‘room’ had a bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen, AC in the bedroom. Breakfast was Turkish, well presented and tasty. The hotel is a very short walk from the village centre. 
Just the Job!
