Residence Loued

This is a beautiful place to stay. It’s like a little paradise on the edge of the Palmerie. There are three people who work at reception, all of whom speak incredibly good English and can hook you up with very affordable tours and excursions. Before you book any excursions on your own, make sure you check with these guys first. They can find you the same tour for about half the price. The rooms are huge. My room consisted of a large bathroom, a curtained off bedroom and a huge living room. While the dining room only caters to breakfast, they can actually have delicious food delivered to your door if you’re too tired to go out. The location is really great. It’s quiet and away from the noise of the street but only a half a block off the main thoroughfare. It’s easy to grab a taxi to go to the Medina or Belvedere rock, but it’s also a nice walk to either place. There are lots of restaurants within a half kilometer radius as well. I stayed here four nights and I have to say, this place and Tozeur itself were my favorite places in Tunisia
