Comepang Hotel

I really liked this hotel. It’s great value for money, considering all that you get. Our suite was really spacious (!), tastefully decorated and very clean. Comfortable! It is evidently a relatively new hotel. The surroundings are quiet and tranquil and there is a lush paddock next to the hotel with cattle. You might want to request a room next to the paddock. The included breakfast is more than sufficient. Aside from toast and fruit, there were three hot meal options including omelette, noodle soup and rice soup. I would recommend the rice soup; it’s very tasty and filling. For lunch and dinner, you’ll have to make your own arrangements. Probably nobody will tell you this, but a major shopping centre (Central Plaza) is just around the corner (45 baht taxi fare). Definitely worth a look. Seven Eleven is a bit too far to walk. Be prepared to catch a taxi. Dogs in the neighbourhood are scary, which is another reason not to venture out on foot. Some points for the management to consider for future improvement: 1) An espresso machine could really add to the experience. Short of going to the local shopping centre, good coffee (i.e. non-instant) seems hard to find; 2) A dinner option downstairs would save guests going looking for food. Alternatively, devising a delivery service for the guests using external providers could work equally well. Of course, these are just suggestions and they won’t stop me from returning.
