1571 reviewsThe Secret Garden holds a very special place in our hearts. Our first visit was in January 2014. During this time we made lifelong friends with another couple. Our goal was to someday return to the Secret Garden to relive the magic of this enchanted place. Not only are the gardens beautiful and serene, the owners and their staff make your stay a very special experience. While not fancy, the cottages are spotlessly clean, beds are comfy and a service kitchen allows you to keep some drinks and food on hand. But do not eat in your room, because for 195 THB ( about $6) Chef Pai and her sous chefs will make you the most amazing dinner and the full breakfasts are included. Isabel, who we first met when she was 18, is the daughter of Chef Pai and Peter, the inspiration for the Secret Garden. Isabel runs the daily operations with such attentiveness and warmth. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to return in December 2024.
