Fantastic
150 reviewsGet the feel of living among locals as this guesthouse on Soi 42/1 stands side by side with residential dwellings and small businesses of Thai denizens. Only a few meters away however will be amenities for the foreign visitor such as convenience stores, restaurants, commercial establishments and the BTS Phra Khanong station. The guests, every time they go back to the hostel, are requested to take off their footwear and leave them on shoe shelves by the electronically-locked entrance. Once inside, there is a lounging area in the first floor, replete with tables and chairs, with the option to avail of free coffee or tea plus biscuits & fruits all day. But there is the alternative offered by the pay-it-and-get-your-change counter for noodles, bottled water, beer and soda. Fast and free wifi runs all throughout the guesthouse.Within this big townhouse unit are small but comfortable rooms provided with TV, AC, bed and private showers and toilets. The premises are cleanly maintained and manned by helpful personnel, including one who`s English-speaking. Charging reasonable rates, the lodging house serves as a rest nest during downtime in between explorations of Bangkok`s numerous attractions.
