I've been there for a couple of days with  2 friends. We've been very well , rooms are very spacious, and the breakfast is very generous.
Located in the switzerland hills, the air is very fresh during the summer time too, so you don't need any air condition.


A good discover

Very clean and well maintained house with large and beautifully decorated rooms. The chef cooks a four-course menu (including dessert) for the hotel guests at a friendly price in the evening, taking into account the wishes of the guests. Good selection of wines from the region. Price-performance ratio unbeatable.

An Oasis of Relaxation and Enjoyment

As a Swiss living abroad in Asia, I come to Switzerland from time to time, and then to my former home region of Zurich or Zurich Oberland. For a long time, I was looking for a homey hotel with no hustle but spacious rooms, no parking problems, nice hosts and also an excellent kitchen. All this I have now found in Bauma's hometown. The host couple mainly hosts hotel guests, which is offered there, but only at a one-time low price, can be simply sensational. The rooms are large and lightning-clean, the food is delicate, and the wine selection is excellent. July and October 2018 have already returned, and we look forward to a family reunion and the hotel restaurant for a long time to come!

What a new discovery!

Staying at the Heimar for work respecting other hotels in the area where I was found courtesy, cleanliness but above all an extraordinary hospitality and courtesy accompanied by excellent food cooked in detail although with the only menu that I nevertheless learned to appreciate precisely for its typicity and goodness.

Pleasant, Relaxing, and Good Food

Very family-run hotel with excellent cuisine. For Swiss conditions, the price for all services is excellent. I would love to come back and look forward to the well-customed and freshly prepared cuisine! The rooms are clean and cozy. Free Wi-Fi that also works with top rates.

Rest and rest after a hard day's work

It's a nice, friendly house with large, very clean rooms. Very family friendly. It's beautifully located. It's a good starting point for hiking. Despite the rooms on the street, there's no unwanted noise. In the evening, there's a multi-course menu that's high in both preparation and presentation.

Family-friendly hotel with excellent cuisine

About a 20-minute drive from Zurich, this B&B features somewhat dated but all in all comfortable and spacious rooms, with a beautiful view of the valley (ideal area for walks in spring and summer).

Good choice for overnight and dinner

A huge room, a comfortable bed, a very typical place. Not new structure, no pretensions of modernity, but good wifi, convenient electrical outlets, and in good quantity, and above all courtesy, smiles, and excellent cuisine, both for dinner and breakfast.

Not recent structure, but top food and kindness!

A hotel that you can recommend with a clear conscience. Located a little off the usual holiday routes and yet not far from different cities. The rooms are unique in size and above all super clean.
