I spent 4 nights at this little home-stay, and I loved it! it is about 1.5 km out of town up the steep Kitalella Road, however, there is a shortcut down the hill to the railway line for an easier walk into town (ask the family), otherwise tuk tuks are easy and cheap. The family here are absolute gems and they were so kind and helpful. On one morning the daughter made me a yummy picnic breakfast of string hoppers and bananas to take with me on my early morning hike up to Ella Rock! The son is the local station master and he organised my ticket to Kandy. When I was departing, he came to say a special thank you and goodbye to me on the platform (brought a tear to my eye I must confess). This is a simple little place with a big heart.
