77 reviewsThis guest house has now been renamed Aqua Glory. We stayed for one night following a long flight. We couldn't have been happier. The room was large, clean, there was a tv, air conditioning, pool and a large breakfast all for a great price. We chose this hotel because it was family run and we wanted to experience Sri Lankan hospitality, rather than one of the large chains nearby. What a great choice, it is run by a very welcoming and smiling host together with his wife. They couldn't do enough for us. The room was comfortable and the breakfast plentiful including eggs, toast tea and a fruit smoothie which was freshly made from a mixture of local fruits. It was delicious. The hotel is in a really convenient location down a lane, just off the main strip. It's a short walk to, the beach, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and atm's We asked the host where we could buy a travel adaptor, for use on the rest of our trip, He gave us one of his own, which we refused to accept without payment. He wouldn't take any money so we negotiated to return it at the end of our journey. Could you ask for more. (P.S. We wouldn't take advantage of these really kind people, so left enough to cover the cost hopefully).
