I've only tested the restaurant, the staff is apathetic, half of the card is not available, I've asked for wifi access, but it's reserved for hotel guests (so you're not guests at the restaurant), the food is average... in short, to avoid.

Running away

Great location. Less than 10 minutes walk from the temples. Dambulla city centre on foot without any problems. Very kind staff. Very (very ahh) enjoyable swimming pool in the evening after the day :-) Meal on site, very good price ratio. I'll be back without hesitation!:-) You have to know how to compare one hotel at this price and another at 100€ per night. At this price and with this service, nothing to be ashamed of. Thank you!:-)

Very good hotel :-) welcome to the top

It's an old hotel that's fallen down, and it must have seen better times!The rooms are dirty, the batteries are empty from the air conditioning, but it was very loud!We paid for two nights, but we only lasted one. Showering and washing was impossible in the bathroom, dirt, rust and dead animals! The TV didn't go, and neither did the air conditioning in the room!

Never again!

We ordered from the hotel's restaurant   and woukd not recomend it. The food we were served was old and tasteless food. The chicken was dired and hard and everything was tasteless. We told our waitress how disappointed we were with the food and he did not even answer back, he couldnt care less. 
They just warmed old food and served to us. 

Do not eat in the restaurant

Poor welcoming, poor service, narcoleptic staff, poor food quality (overpriced), poor bedroom (overpriced again), poor WiFi, poor tv, poor everything. Swimming pool ok though.
Do not accept Visa cards (?)....

Rubbish

We ate it one night on the advice of our guest house during our visit to Dambulla. Very mixed feedback, the place is nice but the staff is not really nice, the prices are not excessive but not given for the Sri, and especially the shrimp in my noodles were completely outdated, taste terrible, I am waiting for the next events with a slight worry... I discouraged the place! (or then I should have avoided the shrimp in a central area may be better...)

The staff prefer to watch the cricket game on TV than to take care of the customers. Sea food noodles at 470Rs. Sea food fried rice at 550Rs. Lion lager beer at 450Rs. Price correct and good dishes. Dambulla being touristy I think there may be people in this restaurant but we were the only ones on Monday. An unshaded pool is next to the restaurant. Nothing original but if you're hungry don't hesitate to stop there. Parking in the shade for our car.

If you're really hungry, it's on the way.

Very Nice Hotel with friendly stuff, Who helps you, to catch Buses from The busstation just next to The Hotel. Rooms are clean and big, without mosquito net but i havent Seen any in my room. Just dont leave Food in your room Cause The aunts will find it. They will charge 10% Service fee.

Nice Hotel with friendly stuff

We booked a room for 2 people for 1 night. The room was kinda clean, no hot water thou because of the broken boiler. The AC works thou, there was just a couple of socket and that was a bit annoying. 
For just one night it’s ok, however I would not recommend this hotel for more nights. 

Almost above the average 

I wish i can give zero star to this hotel and let me explain the experience i had at this hotel. we were passing by Dambulla on our way to Trincomalee on December December 7th, 2017, and thought to stay at this hotel overnight. Since there were 3 families traveling with us we booked 3 AC rooms that day. 
one of the bathroom commode was not flushable and human waste were there from a previous stay. when we complain this situation to the management, hotel worker came to our room check and said "ooh that's just pile of  dead fly's in the commode", come on management we are all grown ups who can distinguish different between fly's and human waste. 
after the lame excuse they then change our room and after 15 mins we figured out the new room AC is broken and had to request for another room. at this stage the management was pretty upset with us and gave another room for higher rate than we originally booked the 3 rooms. Since, it was so late at night and traveling with infants and toddlers we had no other choice but to pay a higher price and stay at this place.  
all rooms were dusty, bed linens were not definitely being changed and luckily we had some linen that we placed on top of their bed clothes.
Advice to the hotel management, please do properly clean and maintain you are rooms. Also train your staff to treat your guest with respect and dignity.
