Cameron House

Location: The only drawback of this fantastic self-catering apartment was the location. It is situated in a wonderful residential area, that always felt completely safe and secure, but a taxi ride from the attractions of Umhanga. All that said, taxis are very cheap in the area and Cameron House is well worth this tiny inconvenience. Check In: We arrived early and were told that our room was not yet ready. This was fine as we were a few hours ahead of check in time, but the owner stored our cases safely until we came back later to check in. Room: We were very happy with our apartment, which opened up onto the gardens and swimming pool. The room had a kitchen area, plus sitting and dining. The fridge came in handy for a few beers and the microwave for a few doggie bags we bought back. Talking of doggies – Cameron House has its own resident canine, a lovely friendly dog called Bella, who was super friendly and licked me to death every day. The bathroom was modern and fresh and the room had a nice big tv with premium channels Service: The owner answered questions about the booking before our flight and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The staff were visible and friendly but non-intrusive throughout our stay Check Out: Quick simple and friendly Summary: We felt that our booking was amazing value for money and would thoroughly recommend Cameron House.
