Ascott Raffles Place Singapore

Fabulous on every front. I loved the nostalgia of this building. My room overlooked a very busy intersection but who knew, I couldn't hear a thing in the room. The room had a kitchenette and washing machine with a dryer with all you could need if you wanted to go self-catering. The room had nicely defined areas and a tv in each area. the bathroom was lovely. It could do with a little maintenance but who cares when everything works!! Oh and that bed, what a delight. I didn't have enough time for a lie-in until my last day and it's a good job because I struggle to leave it. The reception staff were lovely and accommodating when I requested late check out. This hotel is in a fantastic location and within walking distance of all the must-see attractions. I walked upto an hour to the further attraction but I was stopping on route. The hotel has an MRT underground less than a minute's walk away and it is easy to navigate, it is well-signed. Most have clean toilets and at least, a 7-Eleven. I was always on the move so ate out because there were so many options in the shopping malls and 3 minutes from the hotel is a hawker center (food hall) so I didn't make use of any of the hotel facilities which i will do next visit. They have a pool which I only noticed on my last day. All in all a great hotel in a great location which catered for all my needs. I loved it and fully recommend it. I'll be back!!
