The staff was so friendly and helpful.  Gave us good recommendations.  Room was c l ean and beds were comfortable.

I stayed only 2 nights but it was very cozy, it has a beautiful interior garden with orchids, a very cute open space. I walked 10 steps and was already in the beach. Highly recommended

The hotel butts up against the ocean so there are amazing views from the patio area and straddles two beaches. The room was lovely. We had a great view of the ocean from our windows and it was clean and comfortable. The king size room was large enough to comfortably spend time in it when we were ready for a break from the sun. The staff are amazing - accommodating and friendly. They make La Playita a truly special place. Easily walkable access to nearby dining and shopping via roads or beach. Highly recommend.

We were there only 1 night,  the room was nice and the staff ( forgot her name) was very nice. It’s walkable to beach and places to eat. I will definitely stay again for longer period.

Love this hotel! It was perfect! Everything you need is in walking distance. A public beach to your left or a more private beach to the right, just steps away. Casino is 3 blocks away. Breakfast at 6:00am from a gorgeous ocean front view. 20 minute drive to old San Juan. I rented a bronco, but a taxi or uber is another way to get to Old San Juan. Old San Juan is great for day or night life. Don’t forget to check out the two castles for only $10 bucks per person. You won’t be disappointed with this lovely hotel. Better than any fancy hotels.

If you are looking for more relaxing, chill feel as if we’re at home. This is definitely a place to stay. Very friendly, safe respectful place and ppl. We were relocated here from another hotel and I must stay it was quite pleasant. A few feet from the beach area, shopping restaurants were within walking from the distance hotel. I will definitely recommend and will be staying again

This was my first time returning home in 18 years, I was nervous and the staff was amazing they provided local recommendations and were over all very attentive. The room was super clean. Very homey feeling, very relaxed environment. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the parking is very limited and I wish I had know ahead of time. I was so nervous about hitting peoples cars trying to get in a tight spot.

This is a diamond in the rough, perfectly located between two beautiful beaches. Jamila was very helpful we arrived really early and she was able to get us into a nice room so we could go explore. Minutes from Main Street and the casino we only took an Uber one time to visit La Playita. Breakfast was decent the room was very clean. I will stay here again next time I visit.

I liked the proximity to both beaches (5 mins for one and across the street for the other). Good eateries in walking distance. The rooms need to be updated. The bathroom kept the smell of wet clothes in the duration of my stay, which I wasn’t a fan. Please get updated sheets; I’m sure the hotel makes enough to purchase new sheets vs having ones that are from the early 2000s. The bed was comfy though. Staff were all nice and welcoming 10/10 for them. The “continental” breakfast could use a HUGE upgrade. I don’t mind the dogs on the property, I actually like them, but clean up after them if they are to be there. Also, the sockets in my room were ALL extremely loose. I had to maneuver the cords to make sure my devices kept charged. Also, why is the property restaurant not opened as advertised.

Alberto and his staff were so nice! Coco is a sweetheart too! Alberto was there to check us in and gave a us a tour of the property! Clean rooms I had a beautiful view of one of the beaches. The hotel is uniquely placed and very close to restaurants and shopping. The beach’s are less than a 3 min walk. I will be staying here again when I return!

The hotel is in the perfect location, 10 steps away from the beach, and strip of large beach hotels. It gives you the opportunity to relax away from the at times many beach goers. However even on its busiest weekends the amount of people didn’t compare to a New York beach, which was great! The beach was lovely. Beautiful views in lounge areas to watch the sunrise and rooftop to watch the sunset. The staff are very kind, helpful, always cleaning,it feels like family run. Always had parking, and security at night which made me feel safe. Walking distance to eateries and close to the major highways for venturing out.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite La Playita and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by the owner Alberto and his dog Coco. We experienced  impeccable service and an ambiance that exceeded our expectations. This boutique hotel truly stands out as a hidden gem in the heart of Isla Verde.

If you aren’t trying to spend a fortune but still want to have a beach view and easy beach access.. this is it! We enjoyed the quaintness of this small hotel. It is a small facility with minimal amenities but it was perfect for us. Staff was kind and made us feel welcome right away. It’s not a 5 star hotel but they do well with what they have.. safe, fridge, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, TV... all the essentials in the room.Very small breakfast is served each morning. We walked right across the street to get to beach(Isla Verde West). Felt safe there. Highly recommend.
