Quinta D'além

We found this place by surprise after eating at the adjacent restaurant once. This guesthouse is different from anyplace i ever stayed before, it feels like you are back in the 19th century , the manor house is huge, the owners walked us through every room and the decór is imposing, full of relics and antique furniture but very tasteful. Our room had 2 twin beds, a huge closet and a big chair, the bathroom was fully renovated. At night the sounds of nature lured us to sleep. They also showed us around the property where they grow their own organic vegetables and fruits that they later use at our meals. Breakfast is so filling it lasted us until dinner. Have to praise the staff, I believe they were all family, who greeted us so warmly and were always so courteous.
