Casa De Sao Goncalo

Having stayed just outside of Ponte de Lima on several occassions, we decided to stay for 3 nights in town and were made to feel very welcome.The property is ideally located near the old bridge, just across the river to Ponte de Lima. The owners were very warm and friendly and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed, even suggesting new places for us to visit. The apartment was well appointed 2 bed/ 2 bathroom with its own kitchen. It has a lovely south facing aspect and we enjoyed the sunshine in the morning and afternoon. the gardens were very well tendered and were a pleasure to walk around. We were pampered each morning with a wonderful fresh breakfast laid out on the terrace for us and the bed was also made daily. Thank you to Antonia, Joao and their maid (sorry, didn't get her name)for making our stay so enjoyable, we will return.
