We booked Apartment Sophie as a group of 6 friends (3 couples) travelling to Zakopane for a week of skiing. The main thing that attracted us to Apartment Sophie was that it (supposedly) had 3 double bedrooms meaning no one would have to sleep in single beds, sofa beds and we would all have 1 bedroom per couple. We booked the apartment for 8 ppl which offered 3 double rooms and an additional 2 spaces on the couch in the living room which we didn't intend on using. 
We were left disappointed when we arrived to discover only 2 double bedrooms and another room which the occupants of one of the double rooms would have to walk through to get to their room, which contained a sofa. Booking.com specifically said 3 double beds, not 2 beds and 2 sofa beds. It also failed to point out you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to another bedroom. Bed linen was hard, scratchy and not what I would call clean. The apartment also smelled of stale smoke for the first few days until we grew accustomed to it and didn't notice the smell anymore! The couch in the living room was also more like sitting on a ton of bricks!!

All that said, we paid €119 per person for 6 nights so it did work out at less then €20 each per night. The apartment itself was in a modern complex with a jacuzzi and sauna available for guest use, was very well secured with a security man on at all times, security cameras around the complex and electric gates at the front. It was also in a pretty convenient location for getting in and out of Zakopane for daily skiing trips as well as only being a 10-15 min walk (depending on how icy the paths are!) from the Main Street. It also provided storage presses for ski equipment. 

This apartment would be perfect for 2 couples who would prefer some extra space, but if you're happy to use the sofa bed and not bothered about bedroom privacy, It's perfect for 6. 8 people would be completely pushing it though and would be a bathroom nightmare!!
