The R.R. Thompson House was a beautiful older home decorated in the period. We stayed in the Lavender Suite which was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We traveled with friends who stayed in the Rose Suite and were very pleased, as well as there being a sitting room between the two suites that allowed us to meet with a friend that lives in the area and we hadn't seen for quite awhile. Rosalyn and Mike were the perfect hosts, informing us about the house and area yet not being intrusive. Mike was the chef serving us breakfast both mornings while Rosalyn took care of any needs that we had. The Thompson house was the perfect place to stay while wine tasting and a short walk to various bars/restaurants. We would definitely recommend the R.R. Thompson House for a great stay in the Willamette Valley area.
