Hotel Cabañas Safari

This hotel is an absolut no go!! When we went on our trip to the archelogicsl site the stole our money from the room!!! They took out stuff of our bags to find the money from different bags and took it all. When we confronted the staff at the reception they shrugged and said that it was our responsibility. They supposably checked a camera but this was not even plugged into the power socket. 
They were not helpfull at all at resolving this and didn’t even appologize. After this they ordered us to leave because they didn’t want us to cause more trouble. Minus 5 stars if it was possible!

They stole our money!

Restaurant: Margarine instead of butter, orange juice from the box, stale bread, no clue about waffles, dry hamburger, even dryer french fries.

Rooms: ok . You can't hear the road, in the garden a little. 
A/C: I tried 3 cabanas, they didn't cool.
Service: friendly
Location: got to take a collectivo wherever you go. Too far and too hot to walk. Close to the bus terminal. 
Restaurant: forget about it. No alternative in useful distance.
Sitting there though is very relaxing. Good music.
Pool: Photoshopped. It is a puddle for three year olds. 

Everything was relatively expensive for what I got.
It is however a very private place.
Much potential to improve. 

Beautiful garden, the rest is soso

A quiet place, just 15 mins walk from Ado terminal. Bungalows with all amenities placed in the jungle. The wake up hour is given by the nature and not by trucks. A beautiful and big garden. Breakfast is continental one, a drawback, but offset by location. The bus station to ruins in 3 mins from bungalows. 

Quiet place just outside the busy Palenque

The cabins are in a quiet, tree-lined environment on the road to the site to be visited. The staff is attentive and available. The swimming pool, living spaces are the most important. The breakfast is of high quality.

It's a great stay.

Immerse in a lush nature, hotel with swimming pool and rooms located in an evergreen area with the music of nature, day and night, beautiful experience a few kilometers from the ruins of Palenquè, wanting to be reached even on foot.

Great location

We stayed here for a few days while driving across Mexico and it was paradise in the middle of the madness (especially during Covid). We had the hotel mostly to ourselves and it was the perfect place to rest and relax for a few days before getting back on the road. Thanks to all the staff, especially Victor and Renee (the owner). 

Paradise in the middle of the madness 

The hotel is just what we needed, clean rooms is not a 5-star hotel but it is the magnificent place to stay and visit the attractions near Palenque. The wifi was not good but it benefited us by taking the young people (3 who were traveling with us) off their cell phones and making them live with family.

Excellent personal experience and perfect experience.

Stayed in the cabañas safari for 2 nights im december as a group of 4. The place is a real cozy jungle with a pretty pool area but it was full of screaming kids. All rooms have pretty thin walls so yoy hear everyone outside and at the pool at all times. I can recommend it if you are looking for some basic standards and a great location.
They had aircondition in the rooms but the humidity never really left. Probably for that reason the matresses are covered with a plastic protection that is a little weird for sleeping. Showers have very disappointimg water pressure. The wifi only works close to reception and the food is pretty basic, almost no vegetarian options. In order to eat outside the hotel you would need to have a car. 

Cozy atmosphere, basic standards

This is the fifth time we have stayed here and it is indescribable the feeling of being at home, the kindness of the staff and the comfort of the cabins make your stay a unique experience with an unbeatable location.

A magical place.

We stayed at Hotel Cabana Safari for 3 nights and we loved it!  Our cabana was fairly close to the reception area so our WiFi connection was good. We needed the AC the first night. The grounds are beautiful and we had a porch on the back of the cabana where we could sit and have a glass of wine in the evening. They offer maid service every day. The staff are all very friendly!  Tonight we heard the howler monkeys and oh my, it was awesome. They have a restaurant on the grounds that has a simple menu. It’s great to have it so close to get coffee and breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening without having to drive. And what a value!  I think it was around $100 US for all three nights!
