The hostel is old, disadvantaged, the mattresses are atrocious, and the kitchen is diminished, but that doesn't matter, because in a sense it's part of its charm. (The common room is pleasant, colorful but noisy on the street) In general, the problem is this: no human people want warmth or attention to the basic tasks of the customer service team (especially the girls in the morning team). The guest room is supposed to be served at 9 a.m., but the kitchen is smaller, but it doesn't matter, because in a sense, the young girl and the hostess are supposed to have access to the kitchen at 9 a.m. and the kitchen is very nice, but I'm sure they'll be able to pay for it.

The youth hostel is unhealthy to the furniture maker old and uncomfortable. the staff does not pay attention to the client.

Coming into Casa Alebrije it felt like arriving at a friend's place. The hosts are very charming and easy going; the location is great and close by to many cafeterias, markets, and restaurants. Also, I liked the breakfast with good coffee and just an easy place to stay nearby downtown. Happy with my visit, I will come back FOR SURE.

This is one of the most adorable little hostels I’ve stayed in.
It’s in a great location and it’s owned by extremely nice and helpful people.
It has a great view from the roof and some adorable dogs running around.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone going to Guanajuato.

Adorable hostel with great location. 

They explained to me how to get to the hospital and at dawn when I came back they opened the door and asked if I was feeling better, and then they left my boyfriend and me a room with four beds and they didn't leave anyone else.

A pleasant and comfortable visit.

I really enjoyed the place, the atmosphere, the decoration and above all the service were impeccable, my unique but it is the mattress of the bedroom bed that we touch, it was very much felt by the resorts, it needs to be renovated.

Close to the city centre but far enough away to escape the noise of people and traffic.The staff is kind and leave you breakfast ready to arrive and serve you.Comfortable rooms and clean bathroom.If you need it, provide towels for after shower.

We had an excellent stay in the hostel and the girls who run it are very friendly. The place is very central and accessible. Also the decoration is rustic and very colorful. Very recommended for backpackers and hearty travelers.

Beautiful and very accessible.

It is obviously because of the price that we chose this B&B which does not even offer breakfast as an extra. Room on the second floor very correct, a small common terrace with a view, bathroom and kitchen are also to share... Together quite basic but for this rate to ask for more... The situation is the strong point, 12 minutes walk from the heart, if you are not interested in the details, this house is good for 2/3 nights.

I had a great time at this inn, the roof top was not finished yet but you can still access it. Both masters are super cool and do their best to make you have a nice time. The little dej is at the top (fresh food) not just bagged bread with corn flakes like in most places! so here's the super atmosphere. Especially quiet balls because the street is quite noisy but good those who have been traveling for a while in Mexico know that this is often the case haha. And to finish the location is very good as well since in a few minutes you are in the center and for the lazyest the bus stops right in front! (The bus that comes from the bus station from elsewhere too haha!)

My stay in Casa Alebrije was so nice! For several reasons: it is really well located, very close to the City centre, next to a lovely vegetable and 2nd hand clothes market, excellent price and also thanks to the very friendly hosts! 100% recommended =)
