We loved staying at Quinta Sofia! This place captures the essence of Valle de Guadalupe. It is so peaceful and quiet. Very clean and offers everything you might need. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and offered a much needed refreshing drink!  Very happy with our stay.

It was very nice and peaceful, the room was very clean. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.

I loved the customer service and attention we received from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.  Lovely couple.  The room was huge and clean and it had AC!  The room had a balcony with chairs and fire pit.  We had a great experience at Quinta Sofia.  I would definitely go back and stay here again.

Great customer service

Accommodations were very cozy.  Our room had two beds with a great view.  The climate was a little cooler in the evening (June), but the room has a brand new HVAC unit so temperature control was perfect in the room.  Room has a fridge inside and everything was very clean.  The place is slightly off the main road, so no lowered cars here.  I made it in a stock civic with ease, but anything lowered will bottom out for sure.  I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to this city.

Great cozy place to stay on the Ruta de Vino

Such a great stay at this property! The Host Coco and her husband were such kind and amazing people! They were incredibly gracious and went out of their way to help us when we had an issue with one of our drivers. The property was very cute and felt safe. We will definitely come back and stay there! We stayed in the Cabana Roja and was perfect for the four of us. Everything very clean and inviting. A great place!

The owners made us feel welcome the moment we checked in.  They greeted us with a bottle from the local winery and gave us some recommendations for the area.  The room was clean and had all the modern amenities including heat and air conditioning, mini fridge, coffee pot, wifi, and toiletries.  It was the perfect ambience for a romantic getaway.  There was a porch, fire pit, and area to BBQ.  The accommodations are about 5 min drive on a dirt road from the main highway, so if you're in a small vehicle drive with caution, particularly during the rainy season there are ditches along the road.

Romantic Getaway

The Quinta Sofia was a wonderful homebase for my visit to the area. The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The tranquility of the area along with the beautiful views made for the perfect relaxing getaway. The AC and perfectly working WiFi were just an added bonus. Loved the warm welcome by the hosts upon our arrival! Will definitely be back!

Fabulous stay in the Guadalupe Valley!

Coco and her husband Luis make you feel comfortable the moment you arrive.Gave us a free upgrade to biigger room as it was available. Lovely room with nice linens and decor. Great location and Coco showed us a map with suggestions for wineries and restaurants. Bonus a lovely 6 month old puppy who made my stay perfect. We will be back but it will be on weekend as a lot of wineries and restaurants are shut Monday,Tuesday’s and some Wednesday too.  Would be perfect for large group as they have several small casitas, all with fire pits and lovely outside areas to visit and enjoy your purchases at the end of the day.

Wonderful with friendly hosts!

Quinta Sofía was a great  place to stay. The service there was fantastic! Internet was fast, the area was beautiful, and the room was clean and cozy. The only difficulty is the drive of about 1Km from the highway, since it is not paved, but it is not a bid deal as it is pretty normal in the area. We were nervous of transportation options because we had no car, but the gentleman in the reception helped us a lot! They have some contacts to make it easy for guests or, if not too far, they offer to take you themselves. This was super convenient for us, since we just needed to get to a close location for a wedding. We did not stay too long, we had a very comfortable night and would definitely recommend it!

Great place to stay!

It all starts with Socorro (Coco). She is amazing and makes you feel like you're home at mom's for thanksgiving. She will welcome you to her and Luis' property with open arms and either a glass of wine or cold beer. She accommodated every little request we had and surprised us with some nice fresh fruit each day in the room. They even had a couple bikes for us to cruise around their little neighborhood. Very romantic and quiet place.Rooms are great, spacious and clean. Mini fridge, toilet room separate from shower/sink. Nice clean queen beds. Pillows were a little stiff. Air conditioning that was easy to operate. Each room has a space outdoors and stove to make a fire and drink wine outdoors at night. Breakfast is a voucher for a couple potions at a local place. The restaurant was great with good food. You can add more to your order if the voucher doesn't cover certain things you want, and they are very reasonable about how they charge for those.This is a mom and pop property, not a corporate place with lots of accommodations. It's very quiet and romantic. We brought a cooler of food for our convenience and that was essential due to our diet. But there are tons of places around the valley to eat. Coolest discovery while there - ATP Winery, a stone's throw from Quinta Sofia, was the best wine we had the whole trip. And just like Quinta Sofia, is a mom and pop place that it eager to serve and make friendly chat around some wine.

Quaint BnB in baja wine country

These are 5 villas close to the ruta de vino. Rooms were very clean, hosts are nice. Good communication. Medium sized rooms, good running water and amenities. Wood stoves also nice at night when returning from the vineyards. Would recommend for someone to stay here - for us, we like to try different places when we travel so may or may not come back next time.

Nice place. Owners are great.

The cabin is much bigger that the pictures make seem, it’s a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen and living room with a front porch and side yard, really spacious and comfortable. We travel with our 2 year daughter and she had a blast running around we had her trycicle too, morning coffee was so relaxing at the porch with the beautiful views!
