A clean, new hotel, small rooms, very hot, no air conditioning, our only salvation was a window that we had to leave open all the time. The bathroom is very well cleaned and fortunately we didn't have any bad experience with flooding in the room.

Good rest for one night.

We spent some excellent days at this hotel, it has a very good location, very close to the center, excellent cleanliness and staffing are greatly appreciated. My family and my charm will return next year.

Excellent days of rest.

We (a couple) stayed at two other accommodations in the city, a hotel and a hostel, and the Hotel Renacimiento was the clear winner. We found the hotel and room to be in excellent shape, with things in newer condition and the service very good, all for a reasonable price per night.

Just back from a trek to Laguna Miramar, we were grateful for the orderly and clean room, well-functioning bathroom, and the use of the roof to hand-wash our clothes as laundry services in town were closed that Sunday. The staff made us feel very comfortable and were very helpful, lending us a bucket and allowing us to use their washboard and water supply for our laundry needs.

They are not smack on the town's central plaza but they are truly not that far. It is walking distance.

They have secured parking - a large lot with a remote door on the next block from the hotel entrance. We were not charged extra for that. There is also a small convenience store that is part of the hotel on the first level.

We spent a couple of quiet nights here and would recommend the hotel to anyone but be aware that our room did not have AC or a ceiling fan. Nonetheless we were comfortable but that is something you may care to know ahead of time. We're not sure if all rooms similarly lack both AC and ceiling fans.

Best Quality-to-Value Ratio We Found in Comitán de Dominguez!

It is a very basic hotel, very simple and with elementary care, lacking in common sense. It is appreciated that the furniture is almost new, as well as the cleanliness and first attention. We spent a night in a very small room, somewhat warm and with poor natural ventilation; in the morning, when we woke up, we discovered that our room was flooded!!! the hotel staff at no time - neither at night nor at dawn - notified us of the rupture of a pipe in the hallway of the hotel and they waited until we woke up to investigate the situation inside the room. Once we warned them (6:30 a.m.) to trapear (...), we had to help them to finish quickly; we left the hotel before the bathroom was filled with hot water.

Ojala have better luck.

This hotel is highly recommended. Very clean and comfortable with excellent prices. The service is excellent too. What more do you want one!? Whether it's for a night or several Renaissance Hotels gives you a good rest.

Excellent price-quality ratio, hotel virtually new, with excellent care and service. A very good option for staying in the Pueblo Mágico de Comitán de Domínguez. Amazing the architectural quality and state of preservation of its Historic Center, with impeccable streets in its cleanliness and construction, zero baches...
